lol, that phrase is about pollution...It has nothing to do with being arrogant. And how can you possibly say that "Texans are probably the most arrogant type of Americans?"

New Yorkers and people from New England are pretty damn arrogant. At least here, we open doors for strangers, say hello, and 'yes ma'am' My family from California come here to visit and are blown away by how polite people in Texas are. And they think the same thing too, we are all idiots here that right horse and have tumble weeds blowing around.

I enforce english in my server for a few reasons. Trash talk should be read by everyone not a couple of jerks who are using their own language in a foreign server.

If you dont like being an american why are you here??? Youd do realize that in general Texans are probably the most arrogant type of americans. when is the last time you heard someone say "dont mess with New Mexico". Alot of Americans know that we are not incredibly advanced over everyother country but When you look at the facts America has the largest well trained military (china has the largest military but a big portion of it is just civilans taught to shoot guns, the other trained forces are about equall to the US). America also has a higher GDP.


people who are proud to be americans are not trying to be aroogant its just that so few people in the world have the privilige of even being what we would call middle class. To me when someone says they are proud to be british or canadian or american they are saying that they are proud to have basic rights and to have a good lifestlye.

There are alot more deserving people who have a worse life then we do. If you arnt proud to live in america then go live in central africa for a year and live like they do. Then if you still fell like living in a first world nation is not a privilige and you still complane about all your problems then shoot yourself for being so dumb.

it is just foolish to judge a country based on its military prowess. yes the US does have (arguably) the best equipped military but our state of readiness, stretched forces and resources, and the foolish foreign policy can almost nullify the significance of the equipment and training of our actual fighting men/women. things are beginning to go downhill in this great country of ours and im not sure ill even want to live here in 10 years. stupidity is our worst enemy and unfortuantely it is one that wont/cant be defeated.

texans have state pride and i will admit it is excessive. i dont see anything to be proud of, but ive only been here for a few years (and not by my choice).

i really dont think it is right to enforce anytype of language rule. however it does make things alot better for the majority of the people on the server. like a japanese kid(s) who refuse to stop spamming the mike on a US based server.

Unless it is stated specifically in the ROE, admins can kick for disobeying a request, even if it is because the player doesn't understand the language. It is that simple.

I am surprised that this thread has lived this long. It started as semi-intelliegent statement, but has turned into a political/racial/foriegn policy debate. I say lock it and let's move on.

every time i see you post you are either complianing about how you are offended or are asking for a lock. you really must live a sheltered, boring and miserable life. almost every thread in existance has atleast one of these elements to some degree. either get the **** over it or dont bother posting at all. thank god this guy isnt an admin/moderator.

It's lasted this long because people have strong opinions on it. We may have deviated slightly, but thats the beauty of having an argument where everyone has the time and space to put in their point of view. Why lock it? We could all learn something from eachother.

I have only asked for two locks, including this one, out of 169 posts (including this one) and I have only been offended by one.... so I think your stats on me are a little off.

I generally don't complain, but rather try to be a productive part of a conversation, and in some cases that is complaining... so again, outside of a few posts I have made, you are again misinformed... unless you have only read a select few of my posts.... then that would clear it up.

Take your time. Review my post history and prove me wrong.

Not to worry. I tend to be long winded... like my first post ever here.

I contribute to threads where I am compelled, which is why I don't have that high of post count. I don't post the most accepted views, but I am a stickler on the rules... it's my anal retentive side. I, just like everyone else that has ever posted here, have my opinions, and like most everyone else that has ever posted here, my opinions are like armpits... Everyone has a couple of them and they usually stink.
