Ok, you are showing the same attitude they are showing because you are expecting them to use your native language. That is like saying, if a dutch player comes and plays on a US server he should speak in English. If you are going to play on a EU server, expect to have to use French, Dutch, or German.
Better yet, do what I do when I go to other servers....don't say anything at all.

Over react much? All sarcasm aside, English a dominant global language. If the OP is going to run into language xenophobia. Odds are it would be from an English speaking server.
A little more logic and a little less paranoia will help you sleep nights.
P.S. As far as closing the borders I believe (some program I watched) that our population would become topheavy with seniors and our workforce would diminish to practically nothing as industrialized nations birth rates drop to an unacceptable level in terms of replenishing the workforce.
I would like to say that having a healthy opinion of one's self and one's country of origin is a good thing. On the other hand, it is far too easy to become Jingoistic and come off as arrogant and rude.
I have had the good forutne to travel some and I will tell you that each region is proud of what they have. If you are a visitor, it behooves you to smile and say thank you instead of curling your lip and stating how much better things are back home. If you aren;t careful, you will find yourself "home" much quicker than you had planned.

If you only speak German and you join a server located in Dallas Texas, what the hell do you think everyone else will be speaking? If you are so ignorant or arrogant to assume that wherever you go, everyone you encounter will be able to communicate with you in YOUR native toungue, well, then you just need to be beat until you don't know your own name. The whole prmise of your original post is absurd on a level that is even above most of the crap seen on this forum during the whole 1.4 patch waiting period. Please, stay home and play local servers and quit looking under rocks for Dragons to slay. Don Quixote indeed.
South Africa speaks Afrikaans not English they just all happen to take English in school.
Sorry man you're wrong there, I grew up in Johannesburg, SA and happen to know that English is the main of 11 official languages (second only to India) as it is often used as a shared communication between different ethnic groups. I certainly didnt grow up speaking Afrikaans, and neither did any of my friends, that was a language we learnt in school.

I am AWARE kicking for language difference is not only an English thing, did I say it was? I was merely speaking from my perspective ie. an English speaker who has seen a fair few of perfectly good foreign speaking players and squad members get kicked from a server for the 'crime' of speaking their own language. And it winds me up. Of course you read so much into it, your 'criticism' ends up revealing far more about you than it does about me.

TBH, I know I catch myself being very snotty about being American. It is hard to keep that attitude you are raised with in this culture that you are the Greatest and the best....The reality is, we are pretty damn good, but we to have a lot of faults. So yes, I am ignorant, because I forget or don't know how bad it really is in some places of the world. And I have lived in Europe and try to travel as much as possible.

Alot of Americans know that we are not incredibly advanced over everyother country but When you look at the facts America has the largest well trained military (china has the largest military but a big portion of it is just civilans taught to shoot guns, the other trained forces are about equall to the US). America also has a higher GDP.
people who are proud to be americans are not trying to be aroogant its just that so few people in the world have the privilige of even being what we would call middle class. To me when someone says they are proud to be british or canadian or american they are saying that they are proud to have basic rights and to have a good lifestlye.
There are alot more deserving people who have a worse life then we do. If you arnt proud to live in america then go live in central africa for a year and live like they do.
