Release notes

[ Summary ]
A new version of Qtracker has been released that adds support for Alien Arena, Armed Assault, Urban Terror 4.x and ioUrbanTerror.

This release is filled with numerous user-requested enhancements, including the much anticipated player, rule, and mapshot panes which permit you to see the selected servers details in the main application window.

Also included is enhanced Mapshot image resampling using interpolation and sharpening for improved image quality.

Vista themes have been added in blue, silver, and black.

Memory usage has been improved by 20%

The list of enhancements is huge, so please review the change log for a complete listing of changes.

Is there a way to set up a list of favorite servers?

It's driving me nuts that I have to refresh the entire list to look for a specific server every time I want to play.

yes if you have some favorite servers, make a new folder and drag those servers into that folder. they will stay saved in that folder.

Thank you very much.

It took me a long time to get used to ASE after switching from Gamespy (Satan).
This is almost the same as ASE, but it does take up more RAM. I find that it's also quite a bit slower too.

At least it's 100&#37; free :)

I'm having some trouble getting some mods to show on the mod list.

For example, Operation Peace Keeper. I have the mod installed, and checked my qtracker directory for the appropriate filter. There's a file that says "bf2_modsOPK.qtf" in the folder.

For that mod to show up in the bf2 'mods' list it will have to be added to Qtracker by the guy who programs qtracker.

Otherwise for now, you would use that filter by retrieving the entire bf2 server listing, then applying that 'opk' filter to show only OPK servers.

If you want it added to the official mod list in Qtracker, make a post on the qtracker forum requesting it be added.

looks as if i finally called enough and pushed enough buttons with the bitching. I actually got a call from a manger of yahoo today at the corp office. She understands the trouble we are going throw and she is going to the tech support manger in her office today to see what the issue is and if they have a ETA on the fix for it. I explained to her that people are buying this product and it has not been working for 2 months now. Plus the ones that have already bought the product has not been able to use the program as well. So now it is just a sit and wait game to see when she will call back. I was told it would be Monday or Tuesday before she could call me back so I will wait and keep every one posted on my findings.

got my reply as of the end of this year they are closing everything down and not offering the product anymore. No direct reason why but she did tell me that all techs are told to just close any ticket opened on the product. This is why we have not gotten a solid answer back they are ignoring us. They are not even looking into the issue as why it is not working now. So in short if you have a life time membership your life is up. As for the new members get your money back if you can.

I did tell her that if you are not supporting it and closing it down you should remove it from the web so others will not be sucked into buying it.
