Re: Is eng. a worthless class
what's being stated here by the engineer fans to make the class look "great" are the only roles the Engineers fit: driving and mine laying. The only other reason I would be engineer is anti-claymore work and only if I'm really frustrated with the things.
basically, the engineers are just like the pilot classes from battlefront. Their guns are short range, making them easy to take out at length, and they have little use outside a vehicle. At least the pilot class in battlefront could double as medic.
you, sir, are the one on crack and may I have some? I've gotten a hell of a lot of points as assault and play it almost dedicatedly. In fact, a couple weeks ago I got 62 points and a gold medal because I pawned with my F2000. If you're an idiot and a lousy shot, you won't get points as assault, but I think a good assault player could get more points that a good engineer, on foot, any day of the week.

Are you guys smoking crack or something? Engineer is one of the most important classes, which along with medic can get you tons of points. Class that gives you the least amount of points is sniper, and then assault, considering that by playing assault you cannot get those special points, such as healing/repair/resupply points. Don't ever disperage the classes that will bring you aditional points, besides killing and flags only. If you don't know how to play with the engy class, that's a different story.
