they over admin to much i was flying and i dropped a bomb on the tank little did i know there was a freindly infatnry next to the tank c4ing it i kill the tank and the infantry and i get kicked for 1 ****ING TK.

AHAHAH, when was that? It might have been me on there last week! But, I never punish for something like that though.

I played against a player with that particular clan tag. He was nading and claymore spamming the entire round.

i feel it is necessary for this stuff to be discussed rather than disregaurded. bad admining should not be acceptable. i just got kicked from utac for killing an attack helicopter that was badly injured and had just gotten back to its base for repairs. let it be known that even though i do not agree with "base rape" being a bad thing, killing an injured bird thats going back to thier base, is in not way rape, its bad piloting.

Well, if you recall when we were squaded together on Harvest, how nice it is if you are getting chased down, to run to the base where they can't baserape you when you are getting repaired. I recall discussing that with you on VOIP.

It does help when you are the other side of the fence. They are right to do it, think about OSS or Great Wall which they host; if the enemy has all the flags, they want to be able to have an opportunity to get out to at least have a fighting chance. I mean, in OSS, there are like 12 tank on that map total, you get twelve tanks driving around an uncap, it is spawnrape city!

But hey, yes it does suck to get booted for it, but I feel that they can do what they want on their servers. Sadly they are the most populated EF/AF servers, but if people did regulary start going to the other couple out there, it might make some regulation changes on their part, but none-the-less, it is still their server.

Oh god these are the biggest A-holes ever. I just spent 20 rounds on their Euroforces / Armored Fury server and got a sh1t load of abuse from yUP|Patriots.

I was trying to report that a large group of people on my side were forcing TKs, and breaking pretty much every rules their server had. He spent one round mocking me and laughing at me, and another where he said "STFU, I dont want to know about it". Basically translates as, as long as my team are winning, I couldnt give a cr@p.

I want someone at BF2 to do something about these guys. Inevitably, my clan whooping their @ss at TWL wasnt enough.

This is my favorite server I have never been kikced from there, I play by their rules in their house. There are some great players in there and the team work is usually very good not alot of lone wolf types in there. Props to all the UTAC guys for keeping the peace.

Lots of admins bought their servers so that they can abuse their admin powers becuz they probably suffered from admin abuse so they figured that they would try it now :laugh:

FTF96, I looked over the server chat logs again and again just to be on the safe side that I wasn't constantly "abusing" you. Guess what I found?

You kept on rambling on and on like an immature person about team killing which we constantly monitor the server as best as we can.

i've only been using UTAC for the last 3 days,to get my euro hours, and from what i have seen its well admined and because of this there seems to be a general lack of smacktards on the server which in turn leads to better battles \ more fun.
I'm one of several guys who chip in to run a multiplay server, and i know how hard it can be at times to enjoy your game and control the server..some people might say more admining less playing...but who would pay for a server just to sit and watch other people have fun ?
Like Patriot said and others will say or have said before,choose a different server.plenty out there.

I don't deny that people can be one-sided and especially when they want to make themselves look good but you seem to be missing the point that there are quite a few people here that are disgruntled with the admin style of your server. Yes, there is the occasional wanderer who posts in here about how their experience was good but the majority don't show that to be true.

Let me back up, I stepped away from this "conversation" after a week or two of posting it because I forgot about it. I let it go and I'm fine with that but it seems that the issue won't die. Why do you think that is? Because I won't let it die and I want to be vindictive?? Not likely since I haven't posted on this thread since...what was it?....May? My point is that there seems to be a genuine complaint about how the server is run and you seem to keep dismissing that. We have seen from people that you can be abusive and insulting (as we saw from FTF96) but as you've mentioned, you're not perfect (as none of us are). One time is understandable but when it seems that it's repeated quite frequently, there's a need to seriously review the issue. I don't see that happening.

As to the remark about the server being #67, I don't doubt it. Your server is one of the few that would come up on a filter set for "Not Full" and "Not Empty" with EF&AF. My point is that there are people out there that want to play EF and AF but I don't think your popularity is due to your admin style. If anything, you are correct that this thread has produced more traffic for your server (bad publicity is better than no publicity) and for that I congratulate you on keeping this going.

Raggety, thanks for the post. However, I think there's a bigger picture here.
Yes admins definately make mistakes, no one denies that. The majority of these disgruntled players, are exactly that, disgruntled. Just because several individuals post their side of the story doesn't reflect on the vass majority of players who frequent and are content with our administration. These players are regulars on the UTAC server who enjoy and benefit from our adminstrating a fun and enjoyable server.
Personally, I do not enjoy at all kicking or banning players. Administrating is a neccessity as any adminstrator knows.
At times playes complain about a kick or ban in our forums. I would say over 95% of the time, after thoroughly investigating either through the logs or battlerecord that the kick/ban was justifiable.
Unfortunatelly, some individuals who showed little integrity during the game, will show the same integrity with their posts in forums.
