I know. But I am positive if this thread is closed, we can expect a few more. This keeps it nice and contained like teh lid on a jar. If it get's out of hand then we can shut it down.

i have played on their server before and its an alright server...
but i just think its a stupid thing to make it Punishing a clan member for a TK is dumb
so what in a clan member punishes a clan member?

I guess you are refering to a rule (do not punish UTAC members) that has not been in place since early May when it was found to be against EA's ROE.

BTW, Feel free to keep the thread going as we jumped from #100+ ranked in the world to #60 in 10 days!

Honestly, I'm still confused why ppl get their feathers ruffled when punished. In my experience if I TK someone, it is automatically -4 regardless of punish or not. And it's not like there is a stat that shows how many times you were punished. I understand some servers autokick based on # of TKs or even # of punishes.

But what is the big deal? He TKed, you died, he gets -4. End of story.
Wish everything was so simple, right?

I agree with you Rub, but it took me a while to get there.

At first I really felt that people should not be idiots and therefore should not punish, at least for an obvious accident or even worse their own mistake.

Now, like you said, it's more like, "crap I tked someone, opps that wasn't someone I know, gonna be -4, let's get to work I need 4 points ;-) "

While playing on 24/7 server Map Midnight Sun I made the comment that the UTAC members camp the vehicles to much and actually took pot shots at me once for getting the chopper. The member named patriot kicked me out for immaturity. I'm not real sure the members of their clan even reads their own rules.

they also DO NOT Kick when they're being killed either. I wouldn't say they're the worse admins, but there are holes in how they police. I'd still play there from time to time.

Zefram, I am not gonna stand here and pretend to be perfect. So members have made mistake and when those have been found we have had talks with them. 1 member was also kicked from the clan in part for abusing his admin rights. It is a work in progress...
