I use a 10$ logitech and It has worked for me for about 6 months and alot of gameplay. Ot works perfect ad like I said NO problems, however I know 3 other people that had one and it broke for them within the first month, mines awesome, I love it. Though I dont advise getting it...

I have a similar problem with my brand-new Logitech MX1000 cordless laser mouse. It has a ton f buttons, but only the left and right ones are actually bindable in BF2. All the rest simply dont show up! What kind of useless interface is that, if it allows you the option to bind stuff, just so long as it's not yer mouse buttons?

still looking for a decent mousepad too dogman. i dont want something thats just ridiculously hard so i can hear my mouse scraping on it or anything. im used to a soft, textured, smooth feel. any recommendations?

Well I'm using a func surface 1030 for a while and I'm very happy with it. If it ever gets old I'd go for another.

I bought Logitech MX518 yesterday and I absolutely love it. I got 20% more kills then before (I'd been using my old cordless A4Tech). I hope that I'll do even better today :)

im using the MX510 Performance Optical Mouse. and people, i recommend the icemat. get the icemat! mine is about 12 x 10. i love it. the only thing is if it starts making scratching noises, swipe it with your hand and its fine. some dirt can get on it

I got the MX1000 (in the cordlesss desktop MX3100) and it's great!!
Battery life is not an issue as even if you forget to put it in it's charging cradle, it switches off automatically after a while.

Amen Brother. It was a little extra than other mouses when i got it, but it was worth it.

Anyone know of any sites selling really good mousepads, the kind that doesn't collect gunk.

Mouse mat wise I have found the Razer eXactMat great. It is a large alluminium mat that has a smooth (speed) and rough (Precision) powdered sides. I have had a few 'high end' mats over the years and have found this to be the best pad yet otherwise it is back to the old Ice Mat.

I've heard steelpad.com sells some very nice mouse pads. Personally though I'm using the "Razer ExactmatX".

today i got an flexiglow xraider since it was the only gaming one at the local pc games shop. It feels aright, ive yet to test it out though. The surface feels darn hard compared to what im used to though!

Well if you want the best of the best, there are only two choices for you : The Logitech 518 Gaming Grade mouse, or Razor Diamondback.

I chose the second one, because it fits my hand better, and looks overall better. (these two mice have almost same great sensors, though the Razor is more expensive)

As for the pad, the best one for precision, is MTW pad. For fast movements, pick a fUnc or something.

Wireless mice are not good for gaming compared to Corded mice. Also, USB mice are better than PS/2. I am partial to the MX518 (i have it) and if you can afford like 50 bucks then get it because it is AWESOME. Super sensitive (you can make it more or less sensitive, and very comfortable.

Not true for the Mx1000. I had all three 510,518, and Mx1000.

There are times when I say hmmm, maybe Ill try that 510 again. Ive always ended up going back to the MX1000. Especially with the new setpoint.

Multiple profiles, you can even create shortcuts to profiles and then bind a key to them with his keyboard program then push a button, 1 second later new sensitivity.

i dont like those speedpads..i forget what website it was, somebody posted a link on the forums and i cant find it, but there was a keyboard that has configurable keys. like if you want a key to go to firefox it has the firefox logo on it and stuff. if you wanna play a game you tell it what game and the keys turn to the layout of the controls and stuff.

I think it was the Optimus Keyboard. It is badass but i dont think you can get it yet ( available 2006)

maybe by that time Ea will release patch 1.031
