Yeh Razer Diamondback for me too (magma ed) i jus go silly g33k pr0n over those macro's i use for the side buttons.
I got mine set to
- prone and produce med kit
- prone produce shock paddles
- prone primary weapon <-- this get a bit conf00zing at first coz press it twice and you stand up with weapon in single fire mode, press it again and it goes prone in auto mode. Howver if your running around with your carbine on auto pressing this instantly gets you into snipe mode :evil:Comment

Well just use the systray icon to bring up your razer control panel, first turn OFF on the fly sensitivity and then goto buttons...., however there does seems to be a bug in the software i am using here. What the CP picture says are buttons 6 & 7 are really buttons 5 & 7.
So in effect the buttons on the left side of the mouse are 4&5 the buttons on the right side are 6 & 7. with me so far?? lolololol.., theres more.
When youve sussed this and turned off on the fly sensitivity you can start to program your macro buttons or just plainly add a windows key simply by right clicking the button number.
MY price for giving you this info? GIMMEH ur system!!!!!!!!Comment

ok i still have absolutely no clue what to do. i dont even know how to begin to program a macros, and whenever i program a button to a keyboard key then bind something to that keyboard key, it doesnt work. and if i try to bind something to a button in bf2 just straightforwardly, it doesnt work either. and i dont get how "programming a macros" would allow me to do anything in bf2...Comment

Hrm ok goto the button right click it choose macros. A box will come up with a blank white field in it. All you have to do is press the buttons used in the game, ie:My macro for button 4 is ;Originally posted by popwar.ok i still have absolutely no clue what to do. i dont even know how to begin to program a macros, and whenever i program a button to a keyboard key then bind something to that keyboard key, it doesnt work. and if i try to bind something to a button in bf2 just straightforwardly, it doesnt work either. and i dont get how "programming a macros" would allow me to do anything in bf2...
z(down) z(up) (ie ress the z key and release it) then press 6 and release.
In game this makes you go prone and choose weapons lot number 6
Click apply and try it out ingame.
Get that?
It works differently with different kits so i suppose youll have to choose your macros according to your kit. Some things it doesnt work with at all like the crouch key as you have to keep this pressed to keep crouched and the macro menu doesnt like this.Comment

Razer Diamondback is not available anywhere here... so i bought the MX1000 yesterday. It's awesome!!!... makes me wonder how i got by playing BF2 without it!
I also bought the Zboard gaming keyboard... it's super! I have big hands so this is a must for me since i fumble around with the conventional keyboard. The zboard looks prettier in the pictures tho... i just hate the cheap paper they used to brand and label the buttons .... really ugly 'el cheapo' paper.Comment
