Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
Need some help. And it should be a quick answer so it's not worth a thread at Tech.
Are usb wireless adapters as good as a PCI one? The modem is about 4 meters away from my desktop but Ethernet cables are starting to get on my nerves (too many cables around the desk).
Would you help me out with some recommendations on both? (usb and pci)
Thanks.
No, they are not. I found that USB ones tend to be weaker, even though they are more exposed and can even be closer to the source.
I pretty much do all the news, reviews, previews, and begging of devs and publishers for giveaways here.
zip's really does deserve a big thank you for all that he does here. without him pushing news and reviews and the other stuff he does there would be nothing.

i would say no. stay with ethernet, there is nothing better if your gaming.
So I finally had the opportunity to complete my PC build, I left it almost at 50% and never had the time/patience to finish it.
It's my first build and I'm pretty happy with the results so far.
Here are some pics ... remember I bought all of them months ago, I know there are new/better things out there.
Components:
Just missing some cable management:
And done!
Now I can play almost all games at max settings instead of the mid-low/low settings I was running on my MBP with windows partition and the family's desktop.
I'd like to thank everyone who gave me advice on which components to buy. Seriously, thanks.

We have the same heat sink (though I have an extra fan on the back of mine) and the same DVD drive from ASUS. I almost also had that power supply but I went with the SeaSonic X750 Gold instead. We also have almost the same memory, but I opted for the memory from them that didn't have the stupid raised heatsink fins as I didn't want to risk my RAM getting in the way of the heatsink.

And signa deserves a huge thanks as well. He's caught more bot spammers than I could ever dream of. He's a huge reason why we aren't being flooded by spambots right now.

Your signature has been true for me for the past two days. I've spent so much time playing Diablo III it's not even funny. I can't remember the last time I got so hooked, so quickly on a game. Mid-80s here, a bit cloudy, and I'm playing a game inside.
And yeah, the heatsink is nice, but it only goes down to 50 deg celcius for Me, but I got the i7 930, which was overheating like a bitch to almost boiling point at like 95 deg C with the stock cooler.

Your case air flow and ambient room temps have a lot to do with it as well.
