Re: Has anyone tried to play BF2 on dial up?
Alright, let's just picture you on dial-up.
You try to connect to a server, but you fail.
You try to connect to another. Success! 800 ping = autokick.
Go on a third server. Woot, no autokick! People moan you're lagging everywhere. Admin kicks you.
Go on a fourth server. No autokick, no admin! Brilliant! You see an enemy, go prone, and by the time you've received the latest data packet, the enemy has jumped to your side and pumped you with his 2mb connection. It doesn't look like you've died until a few seconds later, but you do!
Then you respawn, and decide you want to go in a jet. You get no lock-on warnings or anything in time and get killed a few seconds after you zoom over an enemy base.
Looks like you can't even play. What's the point in messing up other peoples gaming experience when you can't actually do anything useful for your team?
Don't be a jackass. Don't play BF2 on dial-up.
