    Bethesda Celebrates 25 Years of Elder Scrolls with a Morrowind Giveaway


    Bethesda is celebrating 25 years of The Elder Scrolls today. On this day back in 1994, Bethesda released the first Elder Scrolls title called The Elder Scrolls: Arena for DOS. And while it's not that easy to play the original Elder Scrolls on modern machines, you should still be able to play The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

    It's probably a good thing that FOR TODAY ONLY (March 25, 2019), you can get a free copy of Morrowind to keep forever and ever for the life of the Bethesda.net...

    Bethesda Won't Confirm Skyrim on Switch

    Despite The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim being shown off during the Nintendo Switch reveal, Bethesda said that they cannot confirm that the game will actually come to the Switch.

    A Bethesda spokesperson issued this statement to GI.biz earlier today.
    "We're happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Nintendo on the video. While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of the Switch.
