Just as we suspected.

Earlier this week, we were granted a little look at DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two thanks to a short teaser. It was said at that time that we would see a longer trailer coming out on Wednesday, March 17. That would be today. Sure enough, we were given a longer trailer today.

At the same time, it was also speculated that we would get a release of Part Two this week. Sure enough, that also panned out quite nicely.

Tomorrow, March...

It's short, but it's better than nothing.

A short teaser trailer for DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two was just released. This trailer shows us a bit of the upcoming conclusion to the DLC that began back in October 2020 for DOOM Eternal. Bethesda and id Software revealed this new trailer in the early hours this morning.

Though short, the trailer seems to show off enough to suggest a massive war is taking place. We also get a quick look at the new hammer weapon...

DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part One is now available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia. This release is available for those that own the Deluxe Edition of DOOM Eternal or the Year One Pass for the game. It is also available as a separate standalone release that also includes access to Battlemode. Additional details on DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part One were shown off this afternoon as part of Gamescom Opening Night Live. This expansion will be released on October 20, 2020. It is a new single-player focused expansion for the base game.

This is the first of a planned two-part story expansion for DOOM Eternal. Part One again places you in the boots of the DOOM Slater in order to "confront an ancient evil awoken from an imbalance...

First single-player expansion teased.

The first details on the first single player expansion for DOOM Eternal came out today courtesy of the Bethesda blog. The first piece of content is called The Ancient Gods, Part One and includes travel to "previously uncharted realms of the DOOM universe."

It is in these new locations where you will "confront a new challenge hand-on." The Ancient Gods, Part One will be released for DOOM Eternal later this year....
