you do realize that the changes don't affect why people don't buy the crappy guns. It's not because they are crappy, it's because they FUCKING suck. If they were free, I would still use an AK/M4 because those guns are accurate and deadly. And many other competetive players would feel the same way as well. I mean shit, all this changes will do is make more save rounds, harder comebacks and slower gameplay.
75% of all pub players won't even notice the change, or care deeply about them. But clan wars will be affected big time. They just put in a change (for the better I might add) to the money system that makes it just about perfect right now. Fewer save rounds, faster gameplay, more entertaining sport.

Looks good to me. The T weapons are generally better then the CT versions (AK-47 > Colt M4A1, Mac10 > TMP, Galil > FAMAS, the only real exception is that the CTs get the USP.45ACP while the Ts get the Glock18c), and it was very unfair, I thought, that the Ts could buy AK-47s on the second round while the CTs would be stuck with the (frankly near-useless) MP5-Navy. These price changes have made it alot fairer in my view. It's nice to see some of the prices reflecting 'realism' too - such as the Ts being able to get hold of Mac10's really easily (compared to the CTs and their TMP) while it's harder for them to get hold of more 'professional' weapons such as the SG-552 (compared to the CTs and their Aug). The pistols too, with the new prices, have become more useful - even after the last price drop the Elites were still too expensive to bother with, the FN FiveseveN has always been way over-priced given how weak it is, and the P228 is hardly better then the USP.45 anyway (just a slight power increase and one more round per magazine), so it makes sense that it shouldn't cost all that much more.
And as a bonus, the P90, which has forever been my favourite weapon (both in CS and in real life, not that I've ever actually used one in real life of course) is finally priced reasonably :)
If these changes go ahead as they are now (and by god they should do), then it'll all be for the better. You people bitching about it effecting the more 'professional' side of CS need to grow up - these changes are better for everyone, even if you're too naive to see that.
