Counter-Strike co-creator Cliffe has announced plans to change weapon prices across the board. This includes lowering the prices of most guns, but increasing the prices on "primary" guns including the MP5, M4, AK, and AWP. However, he wants community input on this decision before it is implemented. What ever the prices end up being I think the AK should be about $200 cheaper than the Galil, and can he change the names of the guns back to the old mod names while he's at it?

P.S. Why not actually listen to the community and remove the damn shield, rather than screwing CS up completely by making it pointless to buy an AK?

Public play isn't gonna be affected, its the clan wars that ARE going to be SEVERELY affected by such changes. It seems to me that every change is made to make CS more newb friendly at the expense of the veterans, who really are the loyal players, and every proposed change will push them away.

I for one like the changes, especially the AWP and PARA changes. The pistols being cheaper is a good plan, same as the rifles being more expensive.

You would have to look at who could buy what in certain situations in the first few rounds of a clan match first to decide if these changes help or hurt clan play. Spewing out "omi gad wwtf $3000 wtf! noobs!" doesn't really help. No, I'm not going to check these situations ( I don't think ) and thus I am not commenting on whether they will benefit CS or not, however the attitudes of complainers. Look at the real figures before talking out of your ass, for once, community? I know I'm asking a great deal of sense out of some of you children, but one step at a time, right?

cs is a counter-terrorism game, therefore the majority of the weapons should be the actual weapons that special ops and terrorists use. thsi is not a fucking gang war with fucking dual berrettas and uzis and machineguns and shields. cliffe seriously needs to get a life.

I agree with the "upgrade the sucking weapons" posts.

I'd like to play with something else than DE, MP5, M4, AK.

Making the other weapons better would add some diversity to the game.
