whenever i go launch CS, it asks me if it's ok to download and install it (also says it'll need 350 mb, etc.), i go 'ok' and it just freezes... if i move a window over the steam menu, and then away from it, i can see parts of that window i just moved on top. and when i move the mouse on top it shows the hourglass cursor. also, i can't minmize it or anything...



i guess it has to do w/ the load on the servers, so i'll just wait a bit since there's nothing else anyone can do about it. it's ironic because i was one of the few to not have any problems playing the 1.6 beta. :]

Fools! You should have stayed up all night and got it when it was released. It only took 2 mins to download everything for me.:P Of course it's gonna take forever now that everyone is home from school and trying to download it all at once.

YAR! now that I think that its finished downloading. Due to not having anything to tell me when its done. Im wondering if anyone has had the problem where CS gets stuck at the "verifying resources" stage of the loading?

I got the 350mb message freeze problem so i removed all steam files and started again!!!! We should all file a law suit. die VALVe die!! of course im speaking German :)

Steam is so gay. What was VALVe thinking? I believe that if it aint broke, then don't fix it and counter strike sure wasn't broke. Right now I'm in the process on unintsalling/reinstalling steam because it keeps on freezing on me. This means that I'm gonna get a shitty steamid. This sucks.



PS: I heard a rumor that skins don't work on steam. Is that true?

How about by buy scripts and what not.Will they still work on steam?
