I agee with ya If I had to buy one of these games over steam then wait a week for it to work and be able to play my game I'd be bitching up a storm but as it is obvious valve doesn't give a shit what we think.



I was able to play yesterday, but know steam won't even start, I wouldn't want to buy a game through these ppl if their network is down you can't play, wtf is that shit. I get some unregistered children error or sometimes the steam network may be down, wtf, even if CS single player was working if the steam network is down your steam won't even start so you could not play any single player games, because It's obvious steam needs an internet connection.



Again why do I bitch, because valve ain't reading this, right now their sitting on a yacht with strippers counting their money and laughing at us.

Well thats exaggeration but it sure feels like it the way it feels like our feedback has been ignored. I feel we have a right to bitch/vent anger anyways because we bought a game and its not working the way it used to be (hell not even at all for me still past 3 days, still cant join servers).

whoo lads have you heard about the great new sim valve has just released ...it is mega lads mega , now i have a 2mb cable line ...i miss those old 14.440 days ...well valve have released this new cool sim called steam is simulates dl 1gb of crap dl on a 14.440 it's wild man, like it can take up to 5 days ..it hangs the lot ...sit and does nothing for days ..totall out there move over sim world here comes sim connection

no you dont err....well i think you can play hl without being online..but anyway...well..unless its mp...but dude most of the time its the server location i have 10 mb d/l topspeed adsl but i get 200 ping alot cause theres an imbalance of server loaction...there are waay to many swedish and deutche servers if your in us and you play on one of those evne if you have t1 your ping will suck

with my cable modem: well i'm near chicago and i play on the same exact servers i played on when steam was beta but now ever single server adds an extra digit to my ping... even the chicago ones...

and if homeworld or any other games are forced to go under steam's command i think it will play old russian roulette with my .38 special. and what is really odd is the first day i got 1.6/steam to work i had my normal ping the first game i played but not anymore...son of a mother trucker!!!!1

RIOT SHIELD IS BALANCED FAIR AND SQUARE.



If an AWP can hit you in the shin and kill you, there should be a god-like shield that blocks them! And didnt you guys know that grenades (even in front of the shield) hurt them? Also, you can only have a pistol as a weapon while having a shield. Shield makes you walk slower (but I noticed only while its put on). T's can pick them up. Guns at close range can kill the people. And all you have to do other wise is find a way behind them.



If I had one suggestion for the Riot Shield is at least put a health thing on it. Like have it where it starts with 400 heath. It blocks anything. 300 health, AWP and MG go through. 200 health, M4A1 and the like can go through. 100 Health, SMGs can go through. 50 health, pistols. And at 0 its automatically dropped.

I down loaded STEAM BETA, all seem to go well at first, it loaded, it updated, I played and all was right with the world, well almost. It would not update from BETA to NO BETA. lame



Then came NO BETA, I down loaded, it stalled on updating platform, un-installed-reinstalled. Played a littel last night. Tried to log on this morning.. "NOTHING", it couldn't find file, also claimed to running already with no activity on "desk top" or "task manager". Went to STEAM web page and SUPRISE!! no web page. To post complaint.

i get in and connect to a server, and it says some stuff but then it stops at validating resources...any help?

ok i just used the shield exploit for the first time. how sad. if steam's supposed to be so powerful, send us a freaking update. shield's gonna ruin CS.
