Steam Released!

i had the same thing like 4 hours ago all it needs is restart restart restart and than a bit of updating again and maybe than it will lunch but that doesnt mean anything i lunched it few times but i never got to playing it always hungs on that "joining a server" kinda screen



its just a crap



and it will be for the next couple of days

Now steam just froze up... Amazing, really amazing...



Who in here agrees with me when I say they should have released a normal update, like a csv10051006.exe file, THEN implemented the steam system, when nobody else has to overload the steam servers by updating?

It updated at 300kbps at home (my line is 600kbps), counter-strike and half-life combined. Actually, it took more time updating steam in the beginning than CS. (dunno the speed)

Be persistant and keep closing the 'preparing to play cs'.



Keep monitoring and you'll see it gets a kick up the arse when you cancel and retry - when the timer reaches 0 then itll load - but you aint got a hope at playing :/
