oh sweet lord. the size of my steam folder in my program files is 994 megs. it already went thru the update process for counter strike. i keep my monitor window open and it continually flicks back and forth from 'steam is not currently updating any game' to updating either half life or counter strike at extremely irregular speeds. i attempt to launch cs and it stays on preparing to play counter strike. i go to the properties for cs and halflife and it switches back and forth between 'ready to play' and updating.. and with cs its either launching, ready to play or updating (on these screens it is updating at different speeds than it is on the monitor window!!!)
honestly what in gods name is this program doing?!!??!? i've downloaded almost a gig of content! what else do i need! i was told earlier that the entire update is around 950 megs.... aaaaahhhhhComment
