I like a lot of the changes in 1.4. For instance, the new Spec options are great, and the new maps are outstanding. Theres some things that aren't so good though. The jump thing, I can live with it but it totally ruins the pump. I used to use it a lot and the slowdown makes the gun ineffective. Maybe if you slowed after 2 jumps. The new pistol accuracy I totally disagree with and the walk needs to be changed. Also, I've noticed a big change in the ak. It's cheaper then the colt, stronger, and seems to be much more accurate IMO. Everything else is fine though. Oh, and your site rocks!!!

If people would quit complaining about their poor colt, they might actually learn how to use it in 1.4. My opinion on 1.4 is there are some good changes and some bad, but that doesnt mean you cant get used to it. So all you haters of 1.4 dont go dig yourself into a hole and hide.Comment

OMG CS 1.4 BLOWS and SPITS OUT!!! The stuff that blows = Jumping its so gay what the hells realistic about taht they jump to high anyway wtf wtf wtf!!! and another thing that blows is that bugs i mean come on valve i expect more from you!!! and some things spit out!!!! like the spec mode and 1st person!!! that stuff rocks and i like the bodys that stay !!! i wonder if theres a change of them going back on some of the changes.. i really hope there is, i cant stand 1.4... pause after each jump + slow ass walk + stupid pistol recoil changes + cant shoot while accurately at ALL while running or jumping = AHHH CS SUCKS.. i just have one question.. i love the new view in spec mode, and the new maps
i don't really care about the jumping beacuse i use jump to go on top of boxes and to get out of the nade and gunfire's way.
the new crosshair is cool but it need to make it better,
and they need to fix all the bugs
and the only thing i hate is the wapon skin thing.

Wow ive figured out why they changed cs! Cuz theyre sellouts. They made it more noobie friendly so more people buy it. They dont care about you veterans! They just want the money!(i was banned 2 seconds after saying that on #counterstrike) I predict that they will keep doing this version shit for a long time. Get a bunch of people to start playing then release a new version thats even more noobie friendly. I just wanted to declare that I am quiting counter-strike along with my whole school. I brought it in and nearly half my school started playing it now i took it out. We all hate you couner-strike! You dont give a shit about us! If I saw you id kick you in the nuts because I hate you. I spent so much time getting to be Xpert. 2 weeks after i was officialy 1337 you change it, now im getting raped by noobs jsut cuz they stand in one spot. I hate you. g3 dammit....that gun is great now....and p90 seems to suck, and para is better....that is all, im off to actually PLAY....and defcon, you're a freaking moron. if you have actually ever played cs, you would know that in every version there are changes, and most are to HELP veterans, not t hurt them by being more "n00b-friendly". voice comm did wnders (in matches at least), and im sure not a single n00b used that. why don't you actually think the next time you post?

In fact its for newbies because you can't bunny hop like in quake. And bunny hoping is only for pros that can download the bunny hop script after all. Yeah in fact you're only a vet if you can download scripts. We all know you're only a vet if you have ogc after all, thats just common knowledge. And of course everyone knows that vets are the people who strafe and shoot full auto with the ak, i mean its obvious right.Comment

LAG LAG LAG LAG LAG oh and LAG. Gosh just got finished playin more 1.4. I dont mind most of the changes except for the walking. But now the game lags like nobodies business( at least if you have a 56K) and also most of the ppl I talk to who also thinks that it lags have the Retail Version. Man you cant tell me that after all the problems they have had with the retail version that they go and make a patch that isnt completely compatible or they didnt bother to test the Retail version. Oh and by the way those of you who think that the Colt now sucks because of a supposed "accuracy change" you must suck. I get more colt kills now than i did before including getting headshots when i actually hit their head!(AMAZING!)Comment

Actually, you can more easily hit ur target with a silencer on in 1.4 with the colt, than in 1.3, where silencer off was better.Comment
