I live like 45 mins away from where all these killings are happening (Montgomery County, MD), and our whole state is freaked out by this guy. I can understand why the news reporters would say something like this.....they just want to blame this on something/somebody. Being on godmode, and calling yourself god in real-life is pretty farfetched. I think that what he means by "he is god" is that he can kill all these people without being seen or caught (which he has been doing to his victims). my 2 cent$.

Simply put, A VIDEOGAME SHOULD NOT MAKE A PERSON KILL. If it does, then that person was so messed up that any random thing could probably have triggered him as well. Violence has ALWAYS existed. There are other more important factors to look at. I live in Toronto in Canada. Out of a population of 2.5 million, we have 50 homicides a year, half of those from firearms. That's 25 murders a year from guns or 1 per 100,000 people. And we get the same media you do. In fact our censorship laws here tend to be less strict. We get to watch The Sopranos and Band of Brothers on primetime network TV. Your R rated movies are AA or lower here.



I really do feel that part of it is the availability of guns. If you don't have them you can't use them. It is much harder here to get guns here, especially higher powered guns. This isn't a holier-than-thou thing. It's just the truth. This is one lone maniac that has gotten a high powered rifle and has learned how to shoot. That anyone would blame videogames for this is ridiculous.

Any fool (and theres a lot of them) Can pick one up..either from a store or from thier fathers closet.

Tougher gun laws? To keep guns out of the hands of whom? We don't even know who the killer is, let alone his background. And if he really is a criminal, he could get a weapon without going through the usual channels. By toughening gun laws you're just keeping them out of the hands of people that follow the law.



Maybe you mean take away our guns. You seem scared enough of them.



Yes, take ALL the guns, that's the solution. If one guy can kill someone with a rifle, ANYONE CAN! But... wait a minute. Lots of people have guns. Why aren't there lots of shootings? "But LuftWaffle, there are lots of shootings! It's in the NEWS!" The NEWS is sensationalist. They'll follow ANY story that has someone dying. You hear about the goings-on of like half a percent of the population. You remember these instances, it's the way your brain works. Emotions trigger the release of hormones that strengthen your memory of certain events. How many people have you met that haven't killed anyone? How many people have you heard about THROUGH A NATIONAL NEWSPAPER THAT HAVE?



But lets assume that everyone who owns a gun is a loon. They aren't carrying it for protection, they aren't hunters, and they aren't sport shooters. Forget all of that. There aren't thousands of situations each year where an armed citizen protects the life of himself or other people with the use of a personal firearm. FORGET all of that. Forget the fact that since England outlawed the posession of all weapons except shotguns, violent crime has increased.



Lets just say that if one person kills someone with a rifle, everyone with guns will go on shooting rampages.



What about the one guy that manages to kill someone with a fork? Should we outlaw those? What about the guy that kills someone by holding a pillow over their face. OUTLAW THEM! Protect the citizens from themselves, they can't control their simple minds! We need MORE GOVERNMENT! MORE LAWS!



If you're proposing simple safety measures such as locking up weapons and keeping them out of the reach of children - congrats. You've discovered one of the first lessons you'd have been taught by your father had he not been a liberal PIECE OF SHIT.

oh yea and one more thing.. i rekken george bush supports more violence than the average cs player.. eg. we should strike suddam hussien and banish him from his blablabla and we dun care what it will effect the citizens of Iraq when some civilians die we'll just say 'casualities r a part of war'
