mailbag: failed tactics

Late in the week (Th-S) I put a topic in rizzuh's corner. When I get enough responses I either remove the corner altogether or post something else.

The strat that never works for me is saying, "Hell, I bored of guarding the hostages/bomesite, I have ADD so I'm going to go and kill those bastards!" *Stand Up* *Goes around first corner away from hostages/bombsite and dies instantly by headshot* :_(

The best tactic for me that hardly ever works is the "fake your afk so the dumbass enemy will try and knife you and you pull out an assult rifle and blow their little fucking head off".... usally they just shoot me and im left feeling pissed off.

lol, something like that happened to me once. i wwas afk for like 3-4 minutes, getting something to drink, and when i came back, i heard footsteps to my left, and the little "schwing" of the knife being pulled out. i spun to my left, and glocked the guy in the face, then proceeded to pick up his mp5, only to be killed by his 3 other teammates coming around the corner.

My worst tactic may be when I rush with my flashbang primed into some chokepoint that is usually cluttered with dead bodies. Instead of throwing the fb, I tend to hang on to it until I get a glimpse of the enemy, at which point I throw the fb at his head. Usually it goes right over him and has no effect, and as my player twiddles with his ammo clip and playblocks I become swiss cheese.

Once, I was dead (that's usually is a given though) and the last guy on my team was AFK. The last T decided to primary-fire knife him. After maybe two or three swings, the AFK pulled out a pump shottie. I laughed uncontrollably.



A few days later I began trying to do the same thing. My success was in failure.
