Actually I find that letting my teammates lead everything while eating a can of peanuts usually improves my score and the time spent alive. A few dumbasses will always rush and hurt the enemy team a little bit, but those who stay back get all the action and more kills because you face weaker foes.

That is called baiting. It's bad. rizzuh tends to do it alot.

Rizzuh, nice job on the mailbag again. Though I will admit, too many posts that attempted to be funny, instead of just coming from genuinely stupid people. And you know we have a lot of genuinely stupid people who visit CSN very frequently. :)

The best tactic for me that hardly ever works is the "fake your afk so the dumbass enemy will try and knife you and you pull out an assult rifle and blow their little fucking head off".... usally they just shoot me and im left feeling pissed off.

Ahahaha, you don't know how many times that's worked for me!



Of course, yes, it does fail more often than it works. But when you get back from being afk, you're at spawn, and the buytime is already past... sometimes it feels like your best option. :)

On a serious note, though, I used to get really pissed off at the people who sort of hung back from the heat of the action. Then I tried it, and found out that sometimes it's the smart thing to do, so long as you're still doing the objective.

Yes... yes... this always happens to me when I lose my patience. That has been one of the few virtues that I can definitely say I've learned to develop from CS. Impulsiveness gets you shot. Patience often wins the game. So very hard to stay at that bombsite defending it though when you want to be chasing down terrorists with your mighty scout! Oh wait... maybe it'd be better to stay put afterall... :)
