i played Doom/Duke Nukem/Quake 1 (still do tbh) and never used that config, I always used WASD, its most comfortable, I dont understand people who have things like adjustcrosshair bound to mouse buttons etc... seems like such a waste of a commonly used button.

wonder what button you have your "say this model contains smoothing errors" comment bound to.

I use WASD defaults except crouch is alt.

Also, numpad and arrowkeys for buyscripts.

Had they won every match 13-0, I think I'd probably support this more.

its not that, its just every SOTD andeh reviews (and he reviews every single one of them) all he can say is it contains smoothing errors. because of this seemingly intelligent comment, the SOTD reviewers now comment on "smoothing errors". before andeh atsarted reviewing skins, no one mentioned smoothing errors whatsoever.

i thought the article on this topic was very well done. no more happy (T) campers on de_ maps.

same should be done with camping CTs on cs_ maps if you ask me. though, ya, cs_ maps aren't normally played in matches, i know. :-)

They should be, the only horrible maps are as_, cuz they suck.

The money issue I think should have been lower priority. Fixing the game so hostages can follow CT's up ladders and swim would be much better as this would make many maps once again playable without being so lopsided.

That and allow the T's to click on hostages and stop them when Ct's try to escape with them.

                                esdf is the badass...

I started using it when I played Jedi-Knight2 (for all those crazy force powers) and never stopped... It helps give my left pink that extra workout it craves. Plus, now I can play from home position and use the little raised line on teh keys to find my rightstrafe - QWERTY typing powah!

If I seem unusually enthusiastic/flowery, it's just because I thought noone else used my wierd binds, so I'm ecstatic that others ahve seen the light of esdf...

[edit] PS: Letting Ts move the hosties is a recipe for disaster IMHO - flashbacks to last T rounding all the hosties into sewer and camping out rounds on cs_militia. Maybe Ts should be able to bitch-slap hosties for 1 damage, who will then make loud noises when players are nearby making them useful as CT proximity alarms (with the downside that camping nearby is no longer an option). Slapping them again or rescue/followme-ing them will make them STFU and turn off this feature. What do you think? OR if you really want to be able to move them, slapping the hosties makes them move in that directon only a few steps, so as a T you have to slowly and noisily smack them across the map bit by bit, making sure you don't accidentally beat them into unconsciousness and lose more money/the round. That way, this tactical advantage is balanced by it being pretty obvious, the hosties not too hard to find, and it costing money (by injuring/risk of killing hosties). Whatever.
