First off games that you can't remap every key suck by default, and you have the whole number pad within easy range for you weapon/item/menu hot keys, the zero key up top is close enough to the arrow keys to make it usable since that's usually my most powerful weapon therefor it hardly ever gets used because I ether can't find any ammo for it or I'm saving the little that I do have for a big bad guy. I use the arrow keys and I'm happy with them, oh and right mouse button is jump and end is alt fire.

esdf is by far the best configuration to use because it gives you more keys close to your fingers to use, but i just can't get used to it. I still use goold old wasd but i'm starting to get used to esdf and once i'm used to it i'll switch over.



I use default config except shift=walk, tab=scoreboard, rightmouse=duck, mwheel=secondary fire

I use the arrows just because I can turn the keyboard and give myself more room for the mouse, and I need the space because I have fat fingers that would start hitting other things. I also have the numpad set for buying certain weapons. I don't like scripts because they aren't flexible. I need to be able to decide what to buy right now. I also can't play without a five button mouse.



Does anyone know the most accurate mouse now? I dont think I ever really cared before but I am curious if I would notice a difference.

I use a pretty much bog standard wasd config, but with mouse3 as lastinv and 'v' as stopsound

Yeah I agree puffy, I thought mibr had the best CPL. They done a lot better than even they expected, so fair play to those chaps :)

I use the old WASD but I modified some of the other keys a bit. I use shift for crouching because my pinky likes sitting there better.

I use WQSE and with everything else default, dunno why really. I also have my mouse at 13.4 sensitivity...

WASD with spacebar crouch, middle mouse alt. fire, right mouse jump, and F as drop weapon. I have short flat normal size fingers so i don't accidently hit the wrong key... by the way how fat are your fingers to hit the wrong key Antinous-ODY? You must be playing on a laptop or a very compact keyboard. Oh i think spacebar crouch is ingenius.

W: move foward

A: move left

S: move back

D: move right

Q: secondary ammo

E: primary ammo

Shift: crouch

Space: walk

R: knife

F: C4

Z,X,C: grenades

Mouse1: fire

Mouse2: secondary fire

Mouse3: use

Mouse4: jump

Mouse5: reload

mwheelup: primary weapon

mwheeldown: secondary weapon

and I use the usual set of number keys to buy weapons etc..

mine is basically default except that mouse3 is to buy all ammo, mwheelup is henade, mwheeldown is defuse kit =p

I used WSAD but I changed things up a bit. Left shift is walk, left control is crouch space is alternate fire and mouse 2 is jump.
