Look, I edited after seeing that Zips mentionnes 8 people submitted.

what is the reason for this, i mean, its greatif the steam headquarters gets bombed, then we would have a use for it, but, we have our names and id's on the steam network, and if u loose that but have ur backedup files, there is no point at all to this

It's useful for breaking up the necessary files into burnable sizes so that you dont have to waste your time and bandwidth on redownloading the files. It's especially useful for those of us who are on bandwidth limits here at college.

Discover and JCB/JBC credit cards ... wtf are they ?

JCB are cards used by people in other countries, mainly Japan. I think it's a form of a mastercard. And Discover is another card much like Visa and Mastercard.

it's too early to do any backup on hl2.. wait until it's been unlocked & if there is any more file to download

1. If you want to keep your backup uptodate yes.. But why is that a problem? Any retail game needs to be updated/patched aswell after reinstall (if there are any updates/patches released)..



2. The backup creates .exe files afaik, so it reinstalls everything automaticly (together with Steam?)..

Ironically east asia was the only place they actually advertised css and it was extremely difficult to preorder upon initial release.
