It seems like us retailer owners will no longer need the CD key ! I can't believe it. I'm reinstalling HL2/HLDM/CS:S now looking forward to it (uninstalled hl2 to save hd space after my cd was scratched, lol).

Good Lord, I AM FREE! At last! I can play the game! My CD-ROM was a year old and LG doesn't support it anymore so I didn't know what to do (I'm not buying a new CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive just for a game if the drive works with other copy-protected games). SecuROM better remember to support older drives if they want to keep their clients. VALVe, you are insane, but brave to set us free by doing this. I'm a bit concerned about the problems they'll face by doing this.
