Steam Update

Once again, for everyone that has a problem loading Steam, follow these steps: (just in case there is anyone out there that doesn't know about this procedure)

» Make sure Steam is completely closed.

» Go into your C:\Program Files\Steam folder. (Or wherever your Main Steam folder is.

» Find and delete the file named "ClientRegistry.blob".

» Restart Steam and the problem should be solved.

Following these simple steps will solve most problems involving loading Steam.

I got it too, quite shocking if you think about it especially considering I'm on 56k and have to download it again. And now steam is unavailable! Bah humbug.

4 updates in a week. Looks like VALVe really want to improve Steam in a small amount of time. Maybe VALVe want to release something to Steam ASAP?

4 updates.....so? there was an update then another one which was screwed up, then they issued a fix which was also screwed and finally they issued a fix to the fix - my pont is that steam isnt all that good :/

How do you have the new steam patch work?! I download it and it doesnt do the job that it is supposed to do!! It does the same thing as if i didnt have the patch. Pitiful :-(
