According to Samurai Punk (Screencheat), a development studio based out of Melbourne, Australia, "The American Dream" is guns. More specifically, the American Dream is a lot of guns. Guns from the crib to the grave.

They convey this through their new game that just happens to be called The American Dream. It's a VR title. It has guns. It's a "satirical" game that takes you through a 1950s world's fair showcasing everyday American life.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

The American Dream will be released on March 14 for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation VR. It will retail for $19.99 (USD) and will also have a physical release on April 6 for the PlayStation VR version.
