I think most people would prefer an in game function similar to the demo record in the half life source engine

fraps can cause a lot of people problems

I don't see the logic here, you take the worst thing from CoD4 and wants to put it in BF2 to make it better?

I can see some of the appeal it would have: one AT could take down helis, guns would actually make respectable damage and A2A missiles could take a jet down in one shot. Of course, theory has a way of turning nasty in practice...

If they included the booster pack maps in the patch then why would anyone need to buy the booster pack when they can DL the patch and have the maps? Make sense much?

They won't make booster packs free otherwise people that bought it could claim a refund. If they did want to do that, the original contract when you bought EF and AF would state that the product may become free or whatever the business jargon is to that effect.

Then that's going to result in alot of pissed players that don't already have AF and/or EF.

Well, if it was free, it would result in a lot of pissed of players who spent their hard earned £5 (coincidently the same price as a Big Mac Meal) on the boosters.

It could also end in legal trouble and that's not worth it.

Someone on this Forum has a Brain.

Hmm thought this was just a place where people like to complain like Old Lady's and thought they where getting something done.

                      :Sigh:

There Might be hope for some of you people on here. Who have a LIFE and does not Spend every waking Moment on here talking about stuff.

                      But Besides that.

Its a good way to Show that they Might Care a Little bit.

                      Hey its better then nothing.

                      Peace

TBH, as someone that bought all the products...I would like them given away now...then I might find more servers to play them on!

I actually agree, I bought all the products as well, and RocketChild's right, free updates and stuff will help revitalize BF2. It's sometimes nice to have more than just Karkand to choose from on the server list.

Also, (I never thought I'd say this but) Way To GO EA! It's GREAT you're still gonna support BF2. I still play that game quite a bit, and that's with BF2142 and Crysis and a lot of other much newer games I have to choose from. BF2 will always have a place in my heart and on my comp. :salute:

Agreed, i would as well. I'd love, love to see mixed booster pack servers. IE, map changes from Karkand to Great Wall. However, the potential for people to complain is there and they couldn't take the risk legally.

                                Full widescreen support would be nice, and give me back my fast wrench! :;
