Oh I would guess that 90% of this is not going to happen. My favourite is thinking that you can get a next-gen game/graphics running DX10 online with 80 people and have it run anywhere near smooth!!!!!! Now that's an LOL!

Anyway I await BF3 for sure. Lets hope they get into really good player customization, like create your players face and overall look.

I'm sick of EA lying to the community, Ive already completely moved over to the Frontlines community.

I modded BF2 for 2 years, you would have to be a god damn fool to buy another one of there games after the way they treated us....


Try to tone down the generalizing....

Come on, you know Frontlines is going to be crap like Quake Wars(have you tried vehicles there? lol!), the cravings will set in and then BAM! you're back to the big B, like a bird on it's belly!

honestly though, I think they are really learning from their past mistakes/missteps.

Maybe it will be cheaper for patching/rolling back with a stream system in place. Maybe we will see more content.

Just from the fact it included a global unlock and ranking system on ranked servers im gonna say its legit.

How would it ruin it? I see it extending the life of the game because people are still going to pay for ranked servers, even if the maps are certified. It just add more maps to the pool, then say 8. Consider how many maps were really good out of all the maps initially released with BF2? Maybe 3 or 4? Now how many might be good out of 8? 1 or 2?

If they allow the custom maps in the ranked rotation i will be a happy gamer for a long time :)
