Game balance issues are still there so no, take your beta and shove it where the sun dont shine. Quit trying to add **** to the game and fix it for once in your sorry career as game developers.

ITS TOO LATE EA/DICE !!! You never listened at first and your still not listening now....so why in the heck should we do anything for you? You fixed 3 bugs in....good lord...how long? Sorry, your not doing jack about 99.9% of the major things needed fixed, so yeah....as soon as DCON and POE and a few others are released, I will be done will all your crappy worthless Vanilla!!!

I had to be blunt, because you just plain suck EA/DICE, you care NOTHING about your gaming community, you only care for yourselves and the next buck you can make off of us....I'm done with you guys~!

for the record ..... this topic was made by TBF2 to try to make a difference and doing jsut as we asked (when we as a community begged for open beta) and testing as much as we can ....

haha, are you serious? why test when they clearly didn't listen to what was broken the first time. Maybe they should have fixed the bugs we reported the first time, and we would have been a little more keen to jump on the beta servers. Sorry Crazy, you know as well as I do and the track record of EA/DICE since launch.. so don't pretend this will make a difference. Until 'they' make a radical change in their community support you will continue to see post after post of negative comments.

We did our part. By buying the game in june/july 2005 and expecting a continuously and ever improving game, not one riddled with bugs after patches.

EA/DICE's part was to provide a great game, and they did that. It's too bad it could not "stay" great, and more-so mediocre. Open BETA testing should have been offered previous to the game's release, not [insert # here] releases later.

EA you have no one to blame but yourself. It has been over a year since the release of BF2 and you have done nothing to unify the community. In fact all you have done is divide the community further.

Your marketing ploy of milking every dollar from the community is a prime example. Instead of fixing the major bugs of the game you have spent your time developing 3 mods to sell. SF, AF, and EF while making some money have completely split the community into 3 distinct camps; and with the release of 2142 you will again divide the community.

Now that you have sucked all the money from the fan boys and diehards you have decided to try to finish the initial game. Too little to late. I AM NOT A BETA TESTER!! IT IS NOT MY JOB!! This game should have been tested and re-tested before it was released. Instead you rushed it out the door so that the executive could have a fat Christmas bonus.

For ever step forward, this game has taken two steps backward. In the case of some people the game has become unplayable. In the case of others they have simple stopped playing. Others are waiting for mods; while others have simply moved on never to return.

It’s a shame to see the BF series in this state of decline. Make no mistake about it, despite the fact there are many servers still populate this game is in decline. The simple reasons for this are that the fan boys and diehards still buy into your stats system; many people are waiting for other games to be released and are just passing the time; still others are hoping despite the odds that BF will return to its former glory.

But just like any other company driven by profits you have simply forgot what made you and your product a success. The fans! You have neglected those who have supported you and your products.

Make no mistake I am not a hater. I love BF1942 and BFV, they will go down as some of the greatest FPS games in history. But like many other BF2 players I have become disillusioned with the game. I have given up playing and I hold out little hope that this game will ever be fixed.

Well guess what? Those images and facts have been around for months now and there has been no acknowledgement or fix from DICE in any patch or Beta. I've seen many complaining about J10 v F35 issue for so long now on many forums. And what do we get? No, not a fix. No of course not. We get some stupid Infantry only mode instead of gameplay and bug fixes.

Why arent there more testing it?

1. Its not Ranked

2. We didnt buy this game for Infantry Only crap, we want to play BATTLEFIELD

3. We have complained about everything that needs to be fixed/looked at already for months

4. Its not a new game like BF2142 is gonna be, so no rush to play a beta

Make them ranked and Im sure the people will play, until then doubt if many will play. The stats have changed alot in bf, for the better or worse im unsure.

Out of the 51 servers listed at that link, only 10 of them have players in them and only 5 of them have more than 20 players currently playing. To make sure that we get to beta test future patches, we must first concentrate on this one. Do your part and EA/DICE will do theirs!

Are you serious??...Let me get this rite, EA/DICE is complaining to us that not enough are on the beta servers reporting bugs???... You want us to beta test this patch and report more bugs to EA/DICE when all the bugs we've reported BEFORE the beta came out still are NOT fixed?

WHY SHOULD WE BOTHER REPORTING MORE BUGS WHEN WE'VE TRYED COUNTLESS TIMES BEFORE BUT THEY NEVER WERE FIXED.

You know, it's just not that simple anymore. Sure a lot of us love the Battlefield series and loved Battlefield 2... but it's just not enough anymore.

How long has it been? Been over a year, and now, just NOW -- after they still can't do anything right -- they appeal to the community. And after a crappy expansion pack and two booster packs, one of which was crap, the other at least decent. But it's just not enough. I paid $50 over a year ago and I'm sick and tired of putting up with this, and sick and tired of putting up with EA.

It can be summarized as "too little too late".

Edit: And that's another thing, this whole shebang started AFTER the announcement of BF2142. EA/Dice have already moved on; and so have we.
