Also, when it comes to the game, is it not about living out your fantasies? So to make them as real as possible it makes sense to make everything in the game as accurate as possible!

If that's the case, then tanks should require 4 people to operate them. The game is never going to be even close to realstic. Sooner people realize that, sooner everyone can get back to having fun.

Yeah most definitely, which is why they can't make the game to realistic. Same goes for flying. 90% of the people flying would likely have to stop if you were actually required to know how to fly before hand.

Anyway, I've hijacked this thread enough. While I think the PKM is pretty uber now, it is still not without fault. Far too many people using it drop to prone even in CQC and they make easy targets when all you have to do is run around them firing straight down. Even at range, if the player isn't that good, then he's not going to own with it. I actually enjoy going 1 on 1 with my AK vs the PKM. I win some I lose some, which is just fine by me.

I just don't get these "This is overpowering now" posts. Overpowering for who? Can't you get the same thing as they have??

I agree the PKM is a very accurate weapon with unlimited ammo. Get it unlocked and you can enjoy it as well.

I agree the J10 is a very manueverable aircraft and dominates in the air. Next round you can use it.

As long as the stuff is available for everyone why all the complaints?

All this "it's accuracy should be changed from .0238 to .0235... THAT would balance it" just cracks me up... play the game, not the numbers.

Problem right now with the PKM is that it's too accurate. Period. The solution to fixing it and making it a true support weapon is fairly simple.

Increase the minimum cone of fire on the PKM similar to what it was pre patch. Now reduce the maximum cone of fire. What you end up with is a weapon that can saturate an area with bullets, but can not engage single targets with any kind of accuracy. The role of a support weapon is to provide suppressive fire while others advance and what I just described will let it fill that role perfectly.

Its not that everyone is getting owned by it. Its that everyone is going support and that its better than every other weapon in every situation, which makes it very unbalanced.

its not possible to use cover all the time, most PKM users ive seen just lay down, looking over an area (especialy down alleyways) where people have to come into the open, a flag or street (or wherever) then mow down a squad before they know anything is happening, well before they can get to cover.

if this makes you happy then whatever takes your fancy, in essence, i suppose thats what a support guy does (provide suppressing fire) although i would personally find it unsatisfying to kill people before they even know you're there (i do like sniping though which seems contrary, but its not possible to snipe down a squad)

just make the most of it until dice fixes their mistake

Yeah, I'm not sure what the big deal is. Although there are some vehicles/weapons that allow dominance in the game, the PKM is low on the list. Usually just people complaining because they don't use tactics to take away the advantages. Even the J10, it may own in the air, but with the increased accuracy and power of the anti air it can easily be shot down from the ground. Maybe people should learn some team work and tactic instead of complaining about it.

That's my rant on the topic.

/disagree.
1.)PKM can hit people behind cover (its accurate enough).
2.) ducking, popping up, shooting, going back down, moving a little, then repeat is something you should do all the time with or without pkm.
3.)Support kit has (unlimited) grenades as well.
4.)Moving while under fire is a given, PKM can stop your moving fast though.
5.) bonzai charge... You're right if they do that they deserve it.
6.) always moving doesn't matter. It counters snipers pretty well, but the pkm can spray enough to kill you anyway.

point is: who wins on an infantry vs. infantry situation assuming players are of equal skill. Seems pretty obvious the guy with the PKM to me, hence people are upset. One would think assault should be the (infantry) killing machine, since it has no other team abilities.

/shrug

btw, I don't think comparisons to vehicles are valid here, IMHO.
