Sometimes solo piloting is much more effective and quicker:

1) gunners DO NOT know how to use tv guided missiles. Period.

2) gunners refuse to use tv missiles because they insist on attempting to shoot down tanks and everything else with the guns.

3) gunners can't see a frickin Z-8 in front of them and look at the ground for nonexistant enemies. Or a tank right in front of them with a tv missile.

4) gunners don't know how to lead with the guns when i am flying at any speed faster than 0.

5) rarely, a gunner won't do anything at all.

However, a good gunner is nothing but help and can double the effiency of the chopper.

Yeah, stop gaying up the servers by going solo in a 2 man vehicle.

I bet you sit in a 1 person locked squad as well, and if someone DOES get in teh chopper you fly out of bounds to punish kill them.

While I agree, sometimes, you have no choice, Ive flown right up to groups of people and no one wants in the chopper, specially since the aa got tweaked.

A better question would be, why not let someone gun your chopper?

It's not exactly a hardship to swoop down and pick somoene up, if you dont you just look like a selfish arogant idiot, or at the very least a n00b that doesn't undertand what the "give me a ride" macro means.

If you do this, expect to get kicked from any decently admin'd server, you're playing a team game here not some lone helicopter sim.
