This is such BS yet again from EA.
I too have used up my 3 attempts this week.
I paid for the god damn game but thanks to EA and their inept ability to do anything right i cannot play.
This follows on from a while back when we were given 2 unlocks but nowhere did it say these unlocks were for upcoming patch.
As a result many people used up these unlocks on crap weapons only for decent weapons like the new sniper rifle to come with the patch but guess what the unlocks were already used up because ,yeah you guessed it EA never bothered their arses to put a message beside these unocks to state they were for upcoming patch.

I honestly think EA think we are all mind readers.
Furthermore as the weeks and months go by alongside EA screwup after EA screwup i wonder is EA run by school kids.
As has been said by someone already you are making it very hard for people to even think about buying EA products again.

What a bloody joke,never before have i bought a game and not be able to play it.

Sort it EA ffs.

But at least i can change it, just gonna get a 3week lock out.

ok, it was easy to figure out that they meant my ingame nick (since it is a gamespy id) but although it is entered correct the game keeps telling me that I have to buy EF. I have already changed the gamespynick twice (and I only have one account) and repatched my game with no success whatsoever.

Yep, i messed up the 3 changes of Gamespy login name through the EA Downloader and i'm now sitting here fuming that i've pestered my girlfriend to use her credit card, caused an arguement and still i can't play for the ***** thing!!!!
Has anyone got a way around this 3 times a week name change thing?

Shawn, please pass word along to your superiors about how hard this is making life for your paying customers (you know, the folks that make it so you can pay your morgtage and feed your dog? Yea, US!). This idea was really not implemented correctly at all, and you guys have managed to alienate a great deal of your customer base. Yea, they got our money now, but don't forget that there is another booster pack scheduled for release in the near future and people won't forget the troubles with this one. You guys are fighting an uphill P.R. nightmare.

As a long time EA games (FPS) player I am dumbfounded by the way you all have muffed this one. As a MOH PA player I have come to expect bugs, missed dates and "promised but never delivered" patches. I have also become used to patches to fix patches, but this one takes the cake. I have all the same name and access issues as everyone else here BUT then I learn that you can't even play the EU game from multiple player profiles on the same computer????? (try explaining that to my kids).

I want a refund immediately. What steps do I need to take?

I think it would have been less trouble to have made it a mini expansion pack , similiar to SF , rather than integrate it to BF2 , now they have ****ed off lots of ppl that were pretty much happy with the game so far, such as myself, the other booster pack better be free, cos no one is gonna buy it.

So I buy BF2 twice - once for me and again for my son. Then again two copies of BF2 SF - so we can play together on same servers and now I pay twice for Euro Forces.


I didn't begrudge EA taking my money (twice over) cos we enjoyed the online experience to date and put up with the buggy servers etc.

HOWEVER WTF DOES IT SAY AFTER I'VE SHELLED OUT £5.99 TWICE AND HAD THE EA DOWNLOADER REPORT `READY TO PLAY` THAT I NEED TO PURCHASE EURO FORCES WHEN I CLICK ON ANY NEW EF MAP? FFS I HAVE, TWICE!!!!!"

Am totally lost with all this **** and want my money back now. And to be honest its put me off BF2, BF2 SF et al so lets have the job lot back X 2. EA have ripped me off big style.

Well my downloader log in is different from my BF2 log in. I must have entered the correct information because EF works despite EA being a bunch of total morons.

Glad I read this thread - - - - now I KNOW I will NOT be buying this ADD ON or the NEXT! I will stick with the Project Reality MOD - - - I hate regular Vanilla BF2 anymore anyway.

Have same problem too[as well as a MOH PA player ], not being able to use multiple profiles from same computer has really frusturated us. Just rediculous, I wish they made it atleast like steam or something. That works incredibly easy and hassle free. Why oh why did it have to be made soooo preposterously anal when it comes to their copyright protection.... If they just made them simple files instead of encrypted to one profile ********. Well i guess ill have to buy it agian if its even worth it.....
