Colony will never make a BF2 video of actual combat (unless he does it to take my challenge), but it will never match my PlaneWhore video in an F-35B going for the full round without edits, though he might make some sad little video with some assorted clips spliced together like Jakswan. He's much more content making boring stunt videos in single player with crappy music and *talking* about how good he is.

I'm not going to deny Colony is a good pilot, because his statistics are proof enough he has some of the more advanced concepts mastered (aside from the cheap tactics he uses), and I'm sure he got a lot of helpful advice from my PlaneWhore video considering I virtually invented the single bomb drop techniques that many pilots now rightfully emulate today (but he'll never admit it, of course).

The big difference between me and Colony is he played 2 maps, 32 player Cleansweep, which is a joke (bombers without fighters? lol), or Gulf of Oman (2 fighters versus 1 fighter, lol again). Those two maps are point fiestas for pilots and ripe to exploit for high KDR. On the other hand, I have an equal spread of time between all of the maps, and even those that "suck" for pilots like Zatar and FuShee.

Again, not to say Colony is a bad pilot, because I'm sure he is quite good when compared with the average BF2 pilot, but skill wise he's no PlaneWhore. And no, flying between the legs of a crane isn't skill.

I wont make a video because I dont feel like it.

Cheap tactics? Please tell me what they are. I fly the worst maneuverable planes regularly on every map and still come out on top. Everyone knows how much better turning the Su34 is compared to the F15, yet I always choose to fly the F15 to give the other guy a chance. If anything is cheap, its like I said, you take the best planes most of the time (J10 anyone) and shelter in it. Dont try to deny it, you have much more time on chinese side than even American side, which is ridiculous. Big difference between me and you is that I always hunted aircraft first (usually) then attacked the ground.

I never bothered to watch your video because you have nothing to teach me. I dont even use the stupid 1 bomb tactic because it just wastes more time. Only thing I saw of you was you getting shot out of the air by BullShark in a couple screenshots he posted.

As far as maps I like to play, yes Operation cleansweep 32 player and Gulf of Oman 64 player I feel are balanced maps with (mostly) balanced aircraft. Funny thing is you say those are the only maps I play. Hmmm I have 72 hours on Wake Island already in my Colony account and that is a relatively new map compared to the ones that came out with release. Also in my aircolony account, I played the most on Wake Island. Oh and not to mention I still played twice as much on USMC (F35) than I did PLA (J10).

Im not just good, but better than you. :p

To my knowledge, aircolony holds the best K ratio in aircraft.

First I'm really puzzled with someone with such a huge ego can't come up with something better.

Sigh. My vid, which by the way, includes a lot of mistakes on my part were all recorded on two nights. The Oman vid were the same map just next round, the two TAA guys I shot down a lot switched teams and I couldn't get a plane so I switched to MEC, if you want me to prove it you can see a high res version.

The entire point of posting the vid here is not 'look at me am I not just the dog bollox' it's a counter to PW's rubbish dogfighting vid, where a lot of the other fighters, well.... I'm almost lost for words.

I do not think how good you are makes your view any more valid.

PW puts forward two points ALL the time
1) I'm bored it's too easy to shoot down enemy planes
2) Some noob shot me down

His first point is complete rubbish, anyone that baseraped like he did in his sad little epic 'Planewhore the Movie' proved beyond any doubt that he never played the game for the fun of dogfighting or honour but played to win. Complete and utter self.

His second point, some noob shot me down, well it's a game, be a bit awful if you could get in a vehicle and be immune from everyone else on the server.

For the THIRD time I ask you planewhore did that MIG deserve to kill you?

His other sly little tactic is when someone raises a point, he ignores the point and attacks the person.

I'll give you one more on tip Planewhore, you know stats, a bit of fun m8, no one really cares about your stats only you, I really couldn't give a toss. In three years time people will be saying Battlefield 2?

As I have said countless times, I agree Dogfighting takes less skill but if you change it back, your back to baserape.

All the best pilots have big egos, which is puzzling because you've got an ego and you're a terrible pilot.

actually, my ego comes from my social status as a successful pre-med student in an outstanding university, and in BF2, from my ability to excell in pretty much any area of combat.

I never said that I am a top pilot, I don't have a good stats in plane (I don't fly a whole lot pre 1.2), but I can do well. Of course, you won't believe it, seeing how you think only you can do well in planes.

I've never flown against PW (thank god :P ) but I've flown with (as in, he was the pilot, I was the n00b in the bomber seat) colony and despite all the claims that the F-15 would get creamed in short order by the SU-34 he still managed to stay alive in it for a whole round, at least he did pre-patch. I remember one time I was flying on 32 player Clean Sweep with Recon and all of a sudden we notice that there was an enemy pilot in the sky in the F-15, and it was colony. Well, my reaction was actually 'Oh **** it's colony!'. Neither pilot got shot down the whole round that I recall but colony sure kept us from doing any damage to his team's ground units simply by making himself impossible to kill even in the F-15 which, even in my limited and admittedly sucky flying time, feels like you're trying to fly a Volkswagen Beetle. That has to say something for his flying skills, I guess.

Can I ask a serious question here? Well it's my thread, so I guess I will.

How do you jet s really feel?

I mean woah.. DICE dropped your advantage in the air by a ton, and here's a few thoughts on why..

It's not merely that jets were too fast, or too well armoured, or too powerful.. but rather it involved the people IN them too. A few points to recognise are: 1. Many jet s ended with mega high k/d ratios
2. Many jetwhores tk'd for vehicles.

There are other involving the flaws of these pilots, and PlaneWhore himself has displayed ass-hattery of a high level in assuming he was the best on the planet.. you know, because his jet with more armour than a humvee and a nose-cannon multiple times stronger than a .50 aswell as being able to avoid the (at the time) moronic, slow, and EASILY distracted SAM/A2A somewhat unfairly made him a veritable god in this game.

But now his game is ruined, and see how this infant and his kin sulk..

For the record, I've shot down more helicopters and jets now with both SAA and MAA since 1.2 released, than I ever had in the COMBINED releases prior.

I take great pleasure in sinking the guys who I've known superficially for 6 months as nothing but pilots, who would often end up with either a teamscore of 50+ (implying 50 kill assists) or 50 kills (gunners/jet pilots).

Yessir, the smile on my face when I send them crashing down, even to the point that the j-10's stopped taking off, and on kubra 1 match later, when the MIG and SU stayed grounded, and the Mi-28 never lived long enough to breathe down my neck; is un-matchable.

I've flown for a credible number of hours in jets, and after about 5 minutes of ing runs and meaningless dogfights I bail out from boredom. How can you guys love this vehicle type so much? I mean, come on... the very notion of the repetition involved is so sad, I might as well walk into an uncap and sit infront of a tank for 20 minutes.. I'm sure after the 8th or 9th try there'd be some pretty creative methods (and comments AND questions) regarding my inevitable doom.

No more is this game dictated solely by air-power alone (although given my latest match on Op. Clean sweep, that statement loses credibility..) and no more will I fear you. With my PGZ, my Tunguska, my Linebacker, you will fear me now. You will fear me, because you know you really only have one chance at living, that now your game is about lightning quick, imprecise and (inevitably) ineffective strikes against what un-defended groupings you can find.

You know that so long as there's some two-bit noob in an AA somewhere your life is actually in danger, and your chances of soaring like a bolt of lightning is no more. You will be like rabbits among the eagles now.

The smart ones will quit flying, and switch to the other end of the stick. Become one of us.

But for the rest of you I ask: How does it feel?

Put it this way, before I ever started flying helicopters or jets (helicopters a few months ago, jets a week ago) I had zero complaints about aircraft at all. For over 4 months I never flew an aircraft. Never was owned by them, yes I was killed, but never really owned like you were and had to b1tch to dice about it so that they noobed up the game.

Were jets hard to kill? Yes. Where choppers hard to kill? No.

Now are jets hard to kill? No. Are choppers hard to kill? Its a joke if you can't....

EDIT: Ive only been flying jets for a week and its still very easy to take down AA sites, especially stingers. The sad thing is what you already stated. All it takes is a noob to down a pro pilot.

I'm currently holding the belt on that title, so as both a pilot (or rather, the pilot) and a groundpounder let me tell you how I honestly feel about 1.2

Wow your such a noob, i can pull 6 random people out that i bet can smoke your ass. Including myself , i don't care how many kills you have , i don't care how many movies you made you are f*ucking full of yourself and its you over confident bastards that ruin this game. And i can't wait until i meet you in a server and own your ass , or vise versa. I know that im not the best and i know neither are you. No one is Specifically The Master of any vehicle weapon or kit. This just shows me a lack of respect you have for other players , and your ability to sit in your moms basement all night with fresh cookies in front of you. Ass hole.

Once the little bugs for AA is tweaked out when it zig zags all over the place and when flares WORK.. then it should be fine but this is AA not Air to air

Anyone saying air to air is fine or "Learn how to fly" DOES not fly or is one of those people who always got shot down

TO DAM EASY.. Its just so simple.. I guess its kind of nice to be able to take out whoever in 5secs for some people but for helis/jets its to uneven
