Very, very few pilots have statistics like those on my two pilot profiles. Don't believe me? Just click on the top pilots tab in BF2HQ (to give you the most experienced pilots in the game), click through from 1 on down the list and count how many pilots you see with these "alleged" 50:1+ K/D ratios. I've already looked to compare myself to how other pilots are doing and I can count the number of pilots with a decent K/D ratio mine in the top thousand on one hand.

Actually, my aircolony account far exceeds your Kill death ratio.

I could have easily done twice that number or more if 1) wouldnt get tked and 2) I had power supply problems that would restart computer during play.

You are not the best pilot, nor ever were the best pilot. Taking the best plane constantly and baseraping the carrier all the time isnt exactly something to be proud of.

If you compare accounts, or even my main account colony, you will see that I mostly fly the USMC jets and still dominate. I never had to cower in fear and take shelter in the J10 like you did.

You have not adapted to 1.2 like many others have, and this I believe is because you could only baserape before. Now that the essex and linebackers are deadly, you cant do that anymore.

I did not make that video to prove that I'm some super pilot, I posted it as a rough guide to flying. It took a few rounds, it's cut not because I cocked up but I only have trial fraps 30 seconds. You know the stats 20,000 kills 9/1 k/d ratio and 200hrs spent flying so what do you think, and I didn't get them taking the easy option.

I'm an ok pilot and I hope an asset to any team I play on, there are lots better, I never give up, I've spent rounds in a F35 just running away from J10's, but if I can pull them off my choppers thats enough for me.

Once again you ignore most of the issues, and turn this into 'look at me and how great I'am' when the only thing I saw you do was baserape a team for ten minutes.

I ask you again that 'noob' who got behind you on Gulf of Oman and you just pulled up did he deserve the kill?

'Planewhore the video' I would be ashamed of playing that way, you think that deserves respect, lol, dream on.

Even if you are the best pilot which frankly I doubt it does not mean you have the definative answer on plane balance. In fact I'd say you were the last person to ask.

The key issue which you contiually fail to miss IS THAT THE GAME IS NOW BETTER FOR EVERYONE TO PLAY. It is a game for lots of players not something so that some bloke who thinks he's the mutts nutts can stroke his ego with.

You say in 1.12 you'd have beaten me in a dogfight, lol planewhore, are you kidding yourself that much? What dogfights, I'd have been the 'noob' you'd have chosen to ignore, so that you could have continued the endless rape of choppers taking off.

I doubt you'll see Dice change the game back so why not just give it up.

ROFL- saw Jakswans vide. Im a sucker for a good read and a good watch, but screw it. If a guy talks about throttle control while chasing a bomber and then flies and teaches dogfighting when going against F35B with a J-10, he automatically loses ALL credibility. I liked the video, but youre nothing, absolutely nothing if you speak of one thing and actually dont do anything to back it up in actions. Hell, that bomber could have been downed with 2 missiles, with a lot less time wasted.

Im more anxious to see colonys video, if he ever makes one because Im a strong believer in people who take the F35B if they have a chance to choose a J-10 or MiG-29.

On colonys note, please dont be too quick to judge PWs "baseraping" if you made the topic about MoonGamers to defend that said action yourself.

Your Stinger sites are no match at all to a pilot who knows where they are. I have still only been shot down less than 5 times by enemy planes or stingers. Your only hope is the Essex gun buddy.

But did you exceed my 6.7 Score Per Minute in a plane? Oh you didn't? Well sorry but that is the only statistic that matters to me. Really though, I mentioned it in three forums, for a good long while I was sitting on a 400-500:1 K/D ratio and then my connection started bumping me every 10 minutes and I racked up a ton of deaths. By the time my ISP stopped acting up I had already lost interest in BF2 piloting.

Colony will never make a BF2 video of actual combat (unless he does it to take my challenge), but it will never match my PlaneWhore video in an F-35B going for the full round without edits, though he might make some sad little video with some assorted clips spliced together like Jakswan. He's much more content making boring stunt videos in single player with crappy music and *talking* about how good he is.

I'm not going to deny Colony is a good pilot, because his statistics are proof enough he has some of the more advanced concepts mastered (aside from the cheap tactics he uses), and I'm sure he got a lot of helpful advice from my PlaneWhore video considering I virtually invented the single bomb drop techniques that many pilots now rightfully emulate today (but he'll never admit it, of course).

The big difference between me and Colony is he played 2 maps, 32 player Cleansweep, which is a joke (bombers without fighters? lol), or Gulf of Oman (2 fighters versus 1 fighter, lol again). Those two maps are point fiestas for pilots and ripe to exploit for high KDR. On the other hand, I have an equal spread of time between all of the maps, and even those that "suck" for pilots like Zatar and FuShee.

Again, not to say Colony is a bad pilot, because I'm sure he is quite good when compared with the average BF2 pilot, but skill wise he's no PlaneWhore. And no, flying between the legs of a crane isn't skill.

Now taking down a pilot with skill is nothing,I have no reason to hunt as its just to easy for me now,still very rarely am I killed and when it happen its either a crash or a rogue missle.PW was not the best dogfighter when we first met and on other occassions later in his career he was alot more aware of his six :laugh: ...PW probably is one of the best ground/chopper attack pilots ever Ill give him that,he's quick to get kills including any armor he see's.PW's comments and videos have been some of the most entertaining read's ever IMO,I also regardless were 2 different types of BF Pilots I do agree with him alot...PW has never shot me down but come real close a few times,he was very accurate with the cannons the few times he was on my six,had me to 3 bars one time.

My favorite PW qoute was on another occassion he bailed,but was humorous about it:

"I bailed in attempt to mock you and kill you with my parachute" :laugh:

Now Ive also had the oppurtunity to fight colony pre-patch,he was invited and showed up,this time he had the j-10 on wake we fought at about 90 tickets left and I spent most of that on the defensive,within the last 10 tickets he got me with a missle...However I will note I was fixing to leave the server and be done for the night when he showed ,so (playtime) was kind of not on my mind...but no excuses he won and I saw from being on his six he was a master of the views like myself...Im confident the tables would be turned had I been using the j-10


Im fine with the new ground AA ,A2A sucks however ...Those of you who say dogfighting never occured apparently just never learned to do it

BullShark has had those screenshots for ages, and when I saw him in this thread I knew they were going to get posted. Hey, if I killed a legend I'd keep the screenshots too and flaunt them at every opportunity.

BullShark is a very good dogfighting pilot though, he did contribute to shooting me down once early in my piloting experience, and is the only pilot to shoot me down while in a J-10. I'll give him credit for that.

Though, I know BullShark knows that really wasn't a very good kill, but he did earn it. He chased me the entire round and slowly wittled away my health, while I ended up racking up about 70 or 80 kills (he had none, 2 if you count the air kill on me, and cheapo runway bomb afterwards), and then finally I got sloppy and came in on the carrier deck for a Blackhawk with very little health remaining, both Essex guns firing at me, and BullShark hot on my tail. A couple bullets was all it took while I pulled up after the blackhawk kill, and needless to say I was quite shocked as I'd never been killed by another plane while in the J-10.

Of course, 5 games of chasing me later and that was the only kill he ever managed to score on me. But that's still an accomplishment in itself, so in that regard I salute BullShark for proving that even I could be shot down in the best plane in 1.10, and all it took was a little perserverance, lots of skill, rather than some 1.2 newbie missiles .

All the best pilots have big egos, which is puzzling because you've got an ego and you're a terrible pilot.
