Ok a little update on my Movie "The Final Stand".
Filming just started yesterday, and it did not go well due to the servers lack of bfr, but is fixed now, so i just messed about with the fraps recordings i did. We shot about 5 small 6 to 8 second scenes, almost 3 to 4 times, until we got it perfect.

I have a Wordpress blog at www.fullforce.explodegaming.net, which is being used not at all, but it'd be perfect for your needs. PM me if you're interested.

It would, as you say, be a great thing, giving updates, tips, all kinds of things.

While we're on the subject, don't you think that light affect looks more like a white dot than a lamp, I know I shouldn't nitpick because Combustion is hard work and everybody has to start off from beginner. It's just that everytime I look at it lol! It's pretty distracting.
No problems with the light beam!

Yeah i know what you mean, the reason being is that i forgot to rotate the lght to face left, because right now its facing staright at you. :S I will fix it when i get time.

In that picture i had to Mask the blackhawk, so when it crosses infront of the lights the light dissapears behind, the only problem i had was trying to get the light to go through the inner hole of the blakchawk, i have like 5 different masks just to get that. :\

And the name tags, like Xios said it was just a test, in the movie name tags will not be shown offcourse. :)

Well it has been a few weeks since the last show BUT this week the new MTC will be out. This new one is all new built up from the ground. Such as custom sound track, new theme song/ opening, 3 new guys on the crew, and it will now be on iTunes as a video podcast. A new web site will be up too. The list keeps going and going. And keep a look out for two more shows right after that.

Any luck yet, Neo? I'd hate to see ENDGAME cancelled given that you've already poured a lot of time and effort into its development. I wish there was something I could do to help but, unfortunately, I wouldn't know where to start when it comes to securing use of a server for filming. (I've not yet aspired to that level of sophistication!)

I hope something can be worked out and the sooner the better. ENDGAME has long been one of the projects to anticipate, especially in light of the tremendous quality you achieved with The Duel.

Please keep us informed of your progress.

The quality you can get with battlelauncher IS out of this world, I was always aiming to fix the performance issues as a number one concern with my projects but to achieve that sort of quality too is a different story when it comes to runtime. Since it is very possible to do "Max power" with Operation Burning Sands right now like the format of the source files it's not a 2 minute job.
It's very likely that the full movie will last more than 10 minutes, and packing that much quality into any video file is stressful for the downloader (particularly from filefront, lol) and stressful for me, overlooking the rendering and the amount of uploading time.

It's all about size to runtime ratio right now.
I know a few crazy people who were trying to get the Razzamatazz through their modems!

Well our clan should be getting a server soon, within a few weeks, we're already set on getting one but the people we were going to get it from all of a sudden can't support BF2 so we'll either wait until they get the right stuff (they said a BF2 server might be possible in a few weeks) or look elsewhere, I just hope I can get motivated after such a long absence from making it.
