Mine, too! I'm absolutely loving these responses and the details everyone here has been willing to provide.

John-Paul if you can do me a favor and edit hte first post and add the information, that would be greatfull. :)

Actually, Sir. Side, I was thinking: how about we just keep the thread going as a standard series of individual posts? Given factors such as the length of each response; the need to edit in every new post (with the simultaneous need to remove the doubled-up information); and the value of maintaining the chronological order of posts (especially helpful given the expansive timelines for some of these productions), it seems more practical to avoid compiling everything into the initial post.

For those of us who love this kind of stuff, reading through the entire thread and each of the new posts will be a must anyway. :)

I'm also in favor of seperate posts, otherwise it gets too complex. I have a suggestion...

If we just put a small overview of projects in the first post, with name of the creator/group, name of the project, status and even estimated release date... nothing more/nothing less. That would be very interesting and easy to follow!

As an example, I made this...

Creator(s): Name of the movie / status / estimated release date

John-Paul: (untitled Project) / preparation / unknown
Keyelite: Chase at Fushe Pass (working title) / 70% / unknown
Xios (sir.): Warlord / 80% / april

Of course, these are just random figures just to show off this example.
If everyone was to confirm the status of his project, this could result in a pretty accurate list. Furthermore, it would be easy to keep track of things.

Just one thing you didn't cover which is evident in the screenshots and that's the sound effects.
Where do you source your files?

Sound Effects arent done at all, till we dont have a final edit we cant start doing sound effects. And then the final mixing and Surround mixing like for The Fallen One DVD
I have now a 15GB sound library that i collected in the past years from movies, games, sound libraries and internet.

P.S. I'm dumping After effects now lol, it is of no use to me. Vegas 7.0 comes out soon.

After Effects is good, but not for editing a movie

BTW if i may ask what program are you using for the light effects and such, i know about the rain, I have done something similiar but for a 3d animation movie. You are using Vegas, lightwave 3d and whats the third one?

1st screen is Vegas, 2nd screen is Combustion(after effects like program)
3rd is Lightwave 3d

but I hope your movie has more than just pretty effects.

It will be more then just pretty effect
Story will be the most important in our movie.

Im actually getting the hang of "combustion" to me it seems alot easier then After effects. I was actually able to create a motion tracking scene for headlights on a humvee. :p I still have to make it a bit more smoother, but im happy that it actually follows the humvee's front. :) Im so happy. Im still lost on putting different composites togather. Oh and i was also able to explode a tank successfully, but i forgot to blank it out at the end, and hte tank appeared from destruction without harm. :S Bleh!

I'm working on a formation flight movie. Stunts/Story will be implemented. We are at a stand still as of now becuase of lack for our own bf recorder server. We have completed some scenes but I can not release screen shots of it , would ruin whole thing lol.

I as well am working on a formation flight demonstration team type movie. with new skins and all. I'll let you all know more soon!!!

You might want to take a look at Afterburn and or Digimation's Phoenix :)

Well things are looking extremely grim for ENDGAME as it looks like the server I was hoping our clan would get won't be happening.

It's very close to being cancelled but I'm trying hard to find a solution.

^ Not the place to recruit.. this thread is for information about upcomming projects. And while we are at it, if this is the first time posting in this thread, try including pictures with your paragraph describing your movie (dont have 1 or 2 sentances saying that you are making a video).. That way you have all your information in one post instead of scattered all around
