whats wrong with it being accurate while crouched? i can hit at 200m (not tried further yet) with the L86 LSW (LMG) and 100m standing and thats with a weapon only slightly lighter then the M249.
If you fire small bursts or single shot then you should get kills easily over 800m prone with the pkm! and to be honest if your a sniper at range then u have to be crap at finding a position to hide in! all u need is a half decent cammed up place and you then get the crucial extra time to line up a far more accurate shot

PKM is pretty awesome as well as the MG36, no recoil LOL! I haven't tried out the G3 ever since the new patch but will have a jabbers at it. If it plays better than the earlier patch then it would definately be godlike.

How bout we just make the recoil when standing and crouching MASSIVE like i said before, that will fix most of the stuff, i don't think u could take a LMG hipped and expect it to fire at targets 100m away accurately.

All LMGs look fine to me right now except that the recoil must be increased a little bit. I do not mind having a very accurate single shot. They should have a recoil more than any assault rifle.

Agreed, like in DoD, the MGs sprayed EVERYWHERE when not prone/supported.

That's all i've done, i've decided to take a break from BF2 (my wife is SO HAPPY NOW, now i don't spend like 5 hours in front of the screen on weekends). I'm now playing America's Army, i find it better, the M-16 is actually as accurate as it should be, so is the SAW, and the sniper rifles actually work lol.
