I don't disagree with the idea that there should have been some middle ground with AA against choppers. It was utterly useless against jets, but fairly effective against choppers if your team was good enough.
Alcorr, I can vouch for your chopper skills after being on the losing (I mean slaughtered) end of you on Ghost Town more than a few times. The lack of balance was mainly because one team was good and the other one was crap. Had nothing to do with quality or amount of AA. If each team can put up nearly equal air power, then AA will not be the deciding factor. Wasn't on 1.12 and won't be now. Being on the (badly) losing end isn't very fun. I think it leads to people complaining about balance issues that aren't there. If you put equal teams against one another on about any map the results are satisfying. But if one team has a great pilots and the other doesn't, the rout and complaining is on.
