Girl models... ridiculous. Like I said before, Probably less than 1% of BF2 players are women. Its a game, deal with it.

No no, this was in response to Dilla_Incognitos know-all comments on the absence of women in the PLA. All militaries must learn hand to hand, as you know. Even if americans tend to be using ballistic missiles, airstrikes and artillery most of the time to fight their wars.

And I reckon there should be hand to hand combat in BF2 rather than just the knife :P... heh heh heh- you have to use the number pad to execute different moves on the enemy AND to use to counter and defend against hand to hand moves... BF2 suddenly becomes Tekken and Street Fighter.

I dont think female skins, and whether to have them or not, should be based on how realistic the game is or whether females fight in the frontlines or not. It should be based on demand.

Like I said before I dont care if they add them or not. Even if they did (which is highly unlikely) I probably wouldnt chose a female one anyway. Not through fear of corpse humping or drawing attention to myself as a female but through the sheer fact that every immature player would chose a female kit. I can pretty much guarantee they'd portray themselves as females and do stupid things. I can just see it now, a squad of 6 female skins all "bumping" into each other with none of them actually female. Thanks but no thanks, I dont want any part of that :laugh:

As to why a female would want or only play with a female skin is beyond me, you cant see yourself (unless you watch BR's) and it doesnt give you extra hit points or make you play better.

I think leave the girl skins unless there is a huge demand for them and even if there is a huge demand Id hazzard a guess and say 95% of the demand was guys wanting to use a female skin

Being female, I couldn't of said it better myself. I play games because they are fun. Not based on if the characters are female/male.

I know that alot of people think it probobly would make the least sense to have a female MEC soldier, as some middle eastern countries require women to be completely covered. But they could just be snipers. The ghilly suits are basically camoflauged bukas with some twigs and crap stuck on them. For all we know the snipers ARE female, and they are just using a voice changing device on the radio. On that note, how does everyone even know all the other soldiers are male? Did you check? They could even be intersexed for all we know.

You sir are an idiot. Not all middle eastern countries require to wear fully clothes yet alone a head scarf you can go out in the public like a normal girl (not a slutty one) and wont have problems... and In most middle eastern countries you cant have women joining the army.

I can't imagine there are too many girls who would be playing were it not for the absence of female skins. I'm not saying they don't exist, just that their numbers must surely be limited. My sister loves playing BF2 and couldn't care less about the lack of female skins.

In any event, I don't think DICE/EA should feel compelled to cater to such a small group. Similarly, if someone said, "I'd only play USMC assault if they included white player models," that's not enough of a reason for the developers to include such an alternative.

I've got nothing against including female skins but if those girls who insist on having them are so particular or sensitive that they otherwise won't play, then they surely wouldn't last long at all in-game. Imagine them being subjected to the kind of immature crap we'd see from a lot of male gamers if female skins were included. Those antics would be far worse than the current reason for some girls' unwillingness to play.

Hell, if I were a girl gamer, I'd rather put up with male player models than a bevy of corpse-humping idiots celebrating my every death.

I am a woman player and could care less personally if my "skin" is male or female....but for those of you who are laughing at the women who won't play because there are no female skins--would you play if it were ALL female skins??? Didn't think so... I see no reason why EA/Dice shouldn't add in a few female skins...this isn't real battle, it is a GAME, which has male and female players. I don't think the problem is guys don't wanna mow down some helpless girl with their PKM as it is guys don't wanna BE mowed down by a girl with a PKM :) See you on the battlefield!!

Can anyone honestly tell me how many female Marines you have seen on the frontline? I personally have seen a grand total of one, and that was in a movie. Im not trying to be sexist, just realistic.

personally i don't care what gender/age/color/ethnicity/religion people are that play bf2, although i suppose the more diverse the better. I'm tired of ignorant people using the "n" word all the time as an insult.
