Obviously you're a crappy pilot. The Mig will own the F35B ANY day of the week.
Even a highly skilled pilot in the F35 vs a medium skilled pilot in the Mig, the F35 will still die.

Bull. ALL the F35B has to do to keep up with the MiG is to keep its speed lower than its max speed so it would be comparable to MiGs. THIS requires attention and skills but if done properly all you have to do is watch MiG waste its afterburner trying to get away from you, align your speed to keep yourself at some distance and then fire your missiles away. MiG dead, F35B healthy with afterburners max.

All it has to to to evade is use its vastly superior roll speed and its VASTLY superior max speed without compromising its safe distance (no sharp turns once you start placing bets on your speed to get away).

One thing I noticed, F35B does not have a speed ceiling if you climb vertcally, I dont know if this is the case with MiG aswell.

The only reason why F35B pilots dont succeed against MiG pilots is that they treat F35 THE SAME way as they would treat a MiG and that is a fundamental flaw if their flight pattern which will get them killed. Its not the skills, its not the plane, its just something people wont notice nor pay attention to. I posted a list of differences and a short analysis. Go check it out, itll open your eyes or at least make you think about it.

agreed. it depends on whose hands the f35 is in and the maneuvers used. i myself w/ many hours logged using MS Flight sims and combat sims of all types, i can tell you that it is all about skillz in the planes. i have been shot down by the SU by an extremely skilled pilot once, and only once. and it wasnt missiles that got me. but i have also been accused of cheating because i pace my speed to others and chew'em up w/ the guns. the best way to get used to doing it is go into an empty server and do touch-and-go landings repeatedly. you will be surprised how much it will improve your flying, if not your dogfighting skillz. regardless, my skillz are decent, i just dont choose to fly the jets all that much cause i been there done that enough. the chopper is my forte, in this game anyways. i believe the stealing of the jet is more to prevent that team from using it. pretty simple, as someone pointed out already.

Re: USMC lamers who fly to MEC airfield, bail out, and steal MEC jet

Given the number of players waiting at plane spawns during most games the ease of stealing an entire plane from under there nose is amazing. If you value the asset you have to defend it, not run around the tarmac trying to build a moutain out of med packs.
Any part of a map where you have a gun in your possesion you should expect to have to fire it. Plenty of reasons for an enemy to be in and around the main base and if your team is that bad that he can leave in your teams most desired vehicle that aint his fault. I dont see why a server should have rules against such things. If your allowed to destroy the uav and arty then every and any asset has to be fair prey.

As for load times i am one of the lucky few and i do take advantage but i aint a plane person. Im not usually alone for long and the advantage in real terms is small as by the time i get to a base on Oman, for example, an enemy tank should be leaving the entrance or at least enemy troops.... but that never happens as the US team is busy keeping the carrier well stocked with ammo and med packs pondering why 32 people cant fit in two planes. Whilst i agree the load time is unfair i dont think it is an advantage in reality, you simply get to places as the other team is spawning on mass which is suicide- i accept spawn raping in a plane is plausable but if your gonna do that it it doesnt really matter what time you start.

Bull yourself. All the Mig has to do , is make a sharp turn and hit the (air-)brakes. The F35 (which has NO/WEAK brakes. VTOL/STOL ???) will simply fly by.

Wow, you guys didnt know that? Shame.

Personally I don't have a problem with the whole "nick the enemies stuff" thing.
What gets me is when you are in a perfectly good helo and the pilot just bails out over said enemy base for a shopping spree without even letting you know!
Most of the time I jump into the pilot seat to try to get somewhere and use the BH for what its meant for and get shot down almost straight away.
                  Poor Me!

Re: USMC lamers who fly to MEC airfield, bail out, and steal MEC jet

in all reality, the other team shouldnt be able to use the "other teams" stuff. It just makes sense. Out in the FIELD....i would consider it....OK. But to actually go in a MAIN flag cap area and take something........doesnt sound legit to me. I mean.....
2 teams. Each starts off with some stuff in their main. You cant win with that stuff?
Oh.........and no people dont steal the mig to limit the mecs ability to have a plane. They do it for the 5 cluster bombs, that require zero ability. And wipe out a rather large area.
Again out in the field i think its fine to take someone tank, blah blah whatever.
But stuff inside an enemies UNcappable main should be locked to enemy.
It just doesnt feel right to have some dipsh8t bail out of his own plane, a good plane, to take an enemies plane. Personaly i would ban behavior such as that. Its just idiotic.
Play the flags, use your own SH8t......and move on.

I usually fly people to an uncapped base or some other useful location (capped flag with untaken tanks/apcs, etc) and tell them to bail before going on a shopping spree with it.
However, there's always the odd lost puppy that insists on staying with me. Usually they die.
I can see your point perfectly though.

sorry but thats down to the server admin just cause they dont put a join time on dosnt mean its a explit!
every body has a different system to the next person!
so tryin to say its a exploit is lame,
why should the server admin have to wait just cause some other players have slower comps.
either way i dont mind waiting as im 99% of the time first in the game an i dont use vechiles that much as it isnt much fun flyin or drivin :P

Sure, if the F35 pilot will slam into tight turn at ~1200 vs MiGs ~900 with full afterburners roaring to get that sharp turn and eventually just flying past the MiG. But what if teh F35B held distance? What f it held distance enough to see MiGs air brakes deploying, its fans losing that bring yellow light of life? What if you react fast enough to have the same brakespeed? And what if you went full auto and missile his ass to where theres no tomorrow? Your scenario is typical what to be expected from a player who handles every plane as if it was equal to the others. If MiG makes a sharp turn, F35 can EASILY do the same and not loose the track if it holds distance. WHICH not many understand- F35 is vastly slower than the MiG.

Weak brakes? I dont think so. Try "higher speed when braking starts", thats the real issue here.

I learned something last night, during the few minutes I was able to play on MG. Don't try to engage colony with a bomber when he's up in a JSF. >.<
I thought I'd do so while he was engaged with the Mig-29 thinking I'd be able to shake him off my teammate. Well I did, only to have colony's cannons rip me a new ******* 10 seconds later. Props for the quick kill! It rarely happens to me, even in a bomber. I'm grabbin the fighter next time tho!

The comparison I made between the fighters was more to show the balance between them all, even though they are quite different in handling etc... Each has it's advantages and disadvantages. It wasn't really intended to show that any one jet was better than the other, because that is all the players opinion. Infact. I gave each jet 8 points total if you add each column up, which I did on purpose to show how they balance out with all their differences.
