The thing is I don't take a plane because it's better. I'll steal a plane to give the other team a disadvantage. Play on servers with a long wait before the initial spawn if you don't like it.

Yeah, even worse is when a soldier uses the scope on his sniper rifle. It just goes to show that he can't aim without his precious little crosshairs. Or when I'm a medic, and lose a fight to an enemy with another kit, but he takes damage he picks up my kit and uses my med packs! The scumbags! Or even worse, when someone shoots and kills me instead of being a man dodging the bullets. Stupid exploiting idiots!

Grow up motorboat and stop calling everyone idiots, especially because I could trust a rock to say something more intelligent than the posts you are making. Yeah, so the USMC pilots are untalented because they chose to fight with the MEC air vehicle (which is better), but when the MEC does it simply by spawning closer it is an NOT exploit?

As I've said before, you people want this game to be a good looking firing range simulator because you can't stand getting outsmarted. Well too bad, it's based on full-scale war, meaning aim and "who-shoots-first" aren't the only things that should win the day.

I hate those idiots (like you soup nazi) who fly straight to the MEC airfield, bail out of your perfectly good plane so you can steal a MEC MiG. If you can't win a dogfight in your USMC jet then don't fly. Weak.

Just play on servers that kick for stealing vehicles from enemy uncaps. Like ours.

Wow who made up this fib that the Mig is better than the F35. The F35 is better and more stable, + it has VTOL, which alone makes it cooler.

The Mig seems to have a longer afterburner than the F35 from my experience. Maybe it's just my imagination...

That is why I like Project reality...
You can not steal ennemy vehicles such as tanks, apc's, heli or plane...

I dont expect an american to be able to pilot a plane without proper training or not knowing the language written no the controls...

Actually I would expect specops people to be able to drive enemy equipment. If they are going into enemy territory they would likely have a passing familiarity with some of the systems. Average soldier, probably not, but they could at least figure out a jeep, etc.

realistically speaking, you should leave a bf2 server if and only if, you are facing insurmountable odds especially when autobalance is off and one team takes advantage of having outnumbered the other, or playing against a squad of clan/voip-using players who tend to use tactics that aren't necessarily "bad" tactics but owns (and i mean that with no offence) using a tactic that maybe in league play is legit but for general pub play can sometimes be devastating and no fun to others.

just for the sake of argument let's say there is someone w/ extreme talent for fps/vehicle-use that just buys the game. yes, this person might be able to overcome some of these tactics, but even the most experienced bf2 player will come against these tactics that they have an impossible time counteracting (like when i got the purple heart 4 times lol and i could care less). this type of gameplay can discourage newcomers to this game. i worry that all the complaints encompassing bf2 could be its downfall.

dont get me wrong, i LOVE this game. during this last summer i played the mess out of the game, but here lately my drive to play it is decreasing just a lil bit. however, the mods are great alternative, since some change the whole feel of the game. anyone who played bf42 then played desert combat knows what i mean, especially if they sat enthralled w/ the beginning of the allied forces occuppying iraq. i sat night after night watching, whilst getting poor grades at the university. but couldnt peel away, except to play some dc. here lately i have found myself complaining on forums about gameplay, and i wonder; am i missing the big picture. go ahead crack a joke i dont care. the point is... things could be worse w/ this game, but it still remains the best game out there that simulates (using that term loosely) modern warfare.

the amount of servers out there makes for a plethora of choices when settling down to play some bf2. just find one that suits your gameplay. all-seeing eye is a good program for filtering out a lot of servers that might host gameplay you dont agree with, while displaying servers that tend to host aspects you do like. ex: i was getting rammed the other night by a guy who simply wanted to ram me in the chopper with a jet, since he couldnt shoot me down fair and square. so i left. big whoop. then, for instance, find the server like i did where the jets chase the jets or kill you in an honorable manner, and have fun not hating someone.
