I agree with you, though I don't think the word you are looking for is exploit. I would say an unbalanced issue would better describe what you are saying. I am usualy the first to load a map, so I see first-hand the advantage one receives with a faster rig.

Mr. Soupy, let me apologize for calling you names and being a jerk. I was cranky. I shouldn't have taken it out on you. You are right, that's a good tactic. My bad.

Hope to see you again on Moongamers. It's a great server.

It is quite annoying, but if his plane was burning it would be ok.

Base weapon accuracy: 1 2 2 2
This is just my opinion mind you... and total weapon accuracy is dependent upon the pilots ability to aquire his targets of course. I'm sure alot of other pilots might say that there is no difference in the weapon accuracy between any jet, but in my experiences, the location the guns/bombs are mounted make a difference in how you must aim and fly.
My personel preference is the JSF. I find its stabilty to be helpful when lining up for cannon shots, bombs drop inline when both are released, and the lack of afterburner can be compensated for by proper throttling and use of altitude.

Not necessarily true. Maybe some like the MiG better and are doing it for this reason, but I think mostly they do it so the MEC have one less plane in the air. It's a good strategy, really- But like someone mentioned, it's not really fair if the other team gets there first. In real war it's not like both sides get a whistle and then begin. I like to pretend there's a situation at hand and deal with it.

Kind of true but you can't ignore the fact that strategy and better tools for the job do give you an edge. What if both pilots are the same skill, but one plane is slightly better? Okay, so every gun in the game can kill, but if two guys go toe to toe and one guy has an F2000 and the other has an MP7, the MP7 guy is gonna have to have a significant amount of skill to come out on top. I don't fly in this game but there seems to be a noticeable difference..

I have been posting on these forums for not a long period of time.

HOWEVER- I have been reading them for the longest time, and i believe now i have heard every possible whine, on just about any LEGIT tactic used, just because it caused a downfall for the "whinee".

War is hell buddy, its not supposed to be fun, you know? Tell me if you were placed in a battle, wouldnt you do the same thing? Maybe you would leave out the crashing your perfectly good aircraft to steal another armies superior aircraft part?

Point being, SUCK IT UP SOLDIER!!!!!!!!!

So what if they want a MIG, big effin deal, i would too, MIGS are SAWEEEET!

Basically you dont know what you would do unless put into that position. A good soldier takes it like a man, improvises, uses the tools in his immediate environment to his advantage. A bad one ends up whining here like YOU!!!!! =)

Re: USMC lamers who fly to MEC airfield, bail out, and steal MEC jet

Hey, people steal vehicles- what can you do? I've used it as a strategy to turn the tide against the US in Mashtuur once- because their BH minigun was just a bit too much for my ground force to handle- and a lot of people were having trouble finding cover. Unfortunately, I couldn't order the engineers to dismantle the BH miniguns when they had the chance- to I had them steal their BH and keep them. It worked so well- we started stealing their tanks as well.

We were losing quite badly- but without their vehicles- they started losing quite badly. Too many vehicle and BH whores were still waiting for their BH to pop up- so they were... well, killed by their own instrument of death :P

Re: USMC lamers who fly to MEC airfield, bail out, and steal MEC jet

Ok, lets start with the basics. Figures.

Number will be given without and with afterburner effect.

Rolls, loops- the time for a plane to perform a full motion without and with afterburner measured in seconds.

F35B
Roll: 3/2 s
Loop: 7/6 s
Speed: 1020/1410 KPH
Afterburner duration: 10 seconds

MiG-27
Roll:4/3
Loop: 7/6
Speed:910/1060
AB duration: 13 seconds

J-10
Roll: 3/3
Loop: 6/5
Speed: 1100/1320
AB duration: 13 (Can be wrong, didnt write that down, more than JFS though)

Lets analyze.

MiG vs F35B

MiG is able to compete against 2 solo working planes. Usually does.
Why? After receiving a tough beating and starting to think about, the answer is simple: low speed in dogfights. Due to low speed and F35B afterburners being equipped, MiG pilot doesnt have to anticipate F35 movements. He can just observe them from the distance and he can easily re-maneuver every evasion maneuver F takes. Since most (if not all) pilots use every plane the same way, the evasion maneuvers they perform ignore the advantages they are handed and trust their own experience only. This will limit a pilot to his skills, without taking advantage of his plane and disadvantages of the OpFor plane. For example. I already mentioned MiG chasing JFS with relative ease. But have you wondered why does the JFS escape you in high speeds so quickly that you cant match up? They usually go way up and afterburner themselves way back down to a speed of ~1500 against MiGs ~1100. The mistake they do then, is they do a sharp turn and the MiG cuts the corner to be behind them once again.

Then, most people dont realize that aftreburner not onlöy increases your sped and the time it takes to make a full loop, but it also reduces your full roll time. Most people dont realize that a turn is created via 2 maneuvers, roll the plane and pull back the stick (horizontal loop, if we use this simple expression). So when a fighter can perform the first motion faster than the second, he is positioned way faster than the other. And by doing quick turns in a succession to each other, the planes with the slower roll time will not catch up and the defender often leaves the attackers field of vision. Perfect moment to break loose or change roles.

Why is it so hard to chase a MiG with the JFS? Speed difference. Even if youre far back, when MiG makes a turn, its so slow that youll almost hit it and in a certain moment of a turn, youll definitely loose it from your field of view, which is not the case with the MiG because its slower than the JFS.

By applying the knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of your plane and the OpFor´s you can successfully decide which maneuver is effective and which is extremely inaffective.

And J-10 is vastly superior to JFS because the J-10 is better than JFS in almost every detail, except for AB roll speed and AB max speed. But due to lower non-AB speed the JFS has the J-10 can loose the JFS from its field of vision in tight turns just like the JFS looses the MiG.

======================================

Bombers

Much the same applies to the bombers in dogfights as with the fighters. So I wont repeat myself. But to cut your work shorter, Im going to give you some details. Some analyzation and mental marks and the improvement of your attitude in that plane will bring you fascinating results. That and a lot of work to accustomize yourself with the changes. Biggest flaw- fly every plane "as if" it was equal to the other.

Su-34 (MEC)

Roll: 5/3.5
Loop- 8/7
Speed: 890/1040
AB: 17 s

F-15 (USMC)

Roll: 4/3.5
Loop: 9/8
Speed: 990/1150
AB: 18

Lost the Chinese bombers figures but that sucka can easily take the roles of a dogfighter with an afterburner duration of 10 seconds, its control/speed numbers are comparable to JFS.
Little something I wrote to prove a point that the planes are very different from each other and try to apply certain reasoning why one plane can do better than others.

To comment on-topic. I think the USMC pilots who bail to steal MEC planes are straight *******. I agree that they know they wont be able to compete with the MiG (for their own lack of skills) so they try to get the MiG to not to compete with it. Legit, everything is legit, but its an act of a coward nonetheless.

Based on the definition of the word:

2. To make use of selfishly or unethically: a country that exploited peasant labor. See Synonyms at manipulate.
3. To advertise; promote.

99.999% legit tactic. Usually what my clan mates and I do is fly a BH in to throw down cover fire as a few of us jump down to grab 2 jets and a chopper or tank. Not wasting a friendly jet by bailing makes it 100%.

Theres a small mistake. MiG is the slowest of all the fighters.
Maximum non-AB speed would be

J-10-> F35B-> F18-> MiG-29

Maximum AB speed would be the same except with J-10 and F35B changing places.

(Damnit the editing wont work)
