Good flying will not get you out of a missile lock. Cover can take you out of their field of view/fire but you can't make someone lose their aim by doing air tricks.

I think they should make sure that the AA hits consistently instead. If you shoot at a non-flaring helicopter with a fairly stable course the AA should hit often. As it works now you have a smaller chance hitting close and stable targets than you have at hitting targets further away

Could it be that a 5.56 is a puny bullet? The support class shouldn' be able to hurt helos.

I have taken down a few choppers these past few days. I shot one rocket with the AA so they would drop their chaff then I would shoot the other rocket and get a hit.

Even better when you lock on they get the warning. So I wait till they drop the flares then wait for it to re establish a lock then I fire one and wait a split second to fire the other so i can see which way they turn.

I would like to see an Stinger for the at kit.

Planes and choppers could not see them as a lock on so you could use cover. Against a up close chopper (say camping a spawn or capping a flag) they are to fast for them to dodge.

Also increase there lock on range and homing ablity. this would let you get those fast @%# jets.

Im not sure how many hits it takes to take down a plane with stingers (never actually accomplised it) but an increase to damage could help. 2 shots to plane or chopper should = on fire.

That's a big leap of faith, isn't it?

But if that's the case why they supposedly "fixed" that in previous patches but it never worked. They have it working in SP, how hard is it to implement the same/similar settings in MP???

I only fly fighter jets, not bombers and I pretty much never take any damage so lowering hit points wouldn't make a difference. The only thing that would make a difference would be making the jets slower as I can take out tanks with two bombs in a fighter.
