I'll have a bigger version of that vid for you guys, I went through and took vids on a local server showing the typical shots I go for when trying to get a one hit wonder. You'll notice that most of my line ups are all pretty similar for the respective vehicle types. LAVs, I go for the wheels and tanks I go for the side of the turret off the skirt. You'll see a bit more of what I mean in the video tonight, maybe we can get it put up in the Tips'n'Tricks sticky in that part of the forum for the tanking guide.

For the most part, I don't think their are any weak spots on these vehicles like there were in BF42. I think a lot of it is a cross of DC style shot placement (a perpendicular shot did the most damage) and taking advantage of the ricochet effect that the projectiles are set to have. If you can't get a one hit wonder, then go for the most perpendicular shot you can get.

It will be a few hours before I put the vid up though, need to spend time with the family

Ok, redid the video for you guys. Has the M1A2, T90, Type98, LAV25, BTR90 and WZ551.

On the tanks, you'll notice that I go for the outmost part of the turret overhang, so that the shell can pass the joint and get the much needed 2-3 bounces. If you mess it up, you'll only damage the tank 3-5 bars more than likely, not a good thing.

I take a completely different approach with the light armor vehicles, I shoot the top of the wheel and it ricochets to the inside of the wheel well. On these vehicles, if you mess it up, you'll still end up giving it 40-50% damage if you hit it this way. Works from the front or the back.

Someday I'll do one on dogfighting in the jets and missile behaviour, but that would take more patience out of me than I think I really feel like giving right now as I would have to have two willing guinea pigs to play out scripted situations...

yah, APCs, not sure why I call them light armor vehicles, but for some reason I always call them that, probably confusing for some people lol.

Ya, i would call them light attack vehicles, that's what LAV in LAV-25 stands for . Now u just have to wait for JarEme to come here again and then u have permanant bragging rights over him.

Nice one..... After the first post, and the guuy with the ricochet screens I went to test.... and got it to work twice.... but I concentrated on just one ricochet.... Now I get it....

Yeah this method works although it's hard to duplicate in an actual game.

I wouldnt worry about it ive been able to one shot kill a tank for a long time its virtualy a useless shot in real battle so its not going to change the way people play the game. You will not be able to pull it of against any decent tanker as they will be constantly moving so if they do get it its a fluke. I still say by far the easiest way to take out another tank weather your AT or in a tank or even in a apc is to shot a tank in the tracks (the flat part at the front or back).

I wouldnt worry about it ive been able to one shot kill a tank for a long time its virtualy a useless shot in real battle so its not going to change the way people play the game. You will not be able to pull it of against any decent tanker as they will be constantly moving so if they do get it its a fluke. I still say by far the easiest way to take out another tank weather your AT or in a tank or even in a apc is to shot a tank in the tracks (the flat part at the front or back).

I've pulled it off on pubs, but you don't get that opportunity as often when you are moving and they are moving also. lol you did good mate i was getting realy sick of people saying it was a myth and it didnt exsist i just couldnt be bothered learning how to do a video and upload it im glad you did .
