The whole 14 to 8 rockets is BS and for all you realistic fan boys makes it even less realistic...Speaking of realistic fan boys the whole reduction of TV guided missiles length is also not realistic....

I love how the people that think these are good ideas can be seen in other threads going on about how this and that is realistic and this and that isn’t realistic...more like all you want is realistic things that will help you kill and not be killed...

Realistic in visuals, arcade in gameplay. Thats BF2 problem. Well, In matches TV missiles are a minot problem, so that change may be for the clans.

No more raping ground infantry?
I've been on the giving and the receiving side of helicopter attacks. And it IS overpowered in my humble opinion.
Comon, we were able to decimate the whole other team with this thing alone.
Good thing is it will keep many new players from plane/helo camping because it's going to require a little bit more "skill" to fly the chopper with success.
I am looking forward to the enhanced AA. I love flying jets, but I stayed out of them, and choppers lately because I didn't feel like I really "deserved" the kills I made with it.
Feels much better to keep them busy with AA, mounted MG's, and sometimes SRAW :)

Everything is overpowering, when used in the correct way. PKM's are overpowering, provided one is covered, well hidden, and in a good firing position prone. It's how you use it that's the factor, and the way people talk here, they don't want anyone to be able to use anything against them effectively.
A chopper SHOULD absolutely devestate infantry you maroons!

People who think that somehow EA's solution to bunny hopping is good are not giving it much thought. A guy laying down in a covered position used to be vulnerable to a m203 shot froma guy who jumps and sees him, and then jumps to clear the fence with the m203. Now, the PKM guy laying there need not worry about any attacks coming from anywhere but on the ground in fronto f him.

A better solution would be to make it so that if you had no stamina, you simply can't jump. This would eliminate perpetual bunny hopping, while at the same time balancing things. Now, a prone covered person just camps and will rape with the changes being implementd by dice/ea, where the ability to jump and surprise them or jump and "dolphin" behind cover. These changes slow the game, when a much better solution is available. Give it some thought, and stop being morons.

The chopper issue is more on levels like Sharqui though. Choppers weaknesses are usually jets and such, which there is none in that level. It pretty much leaves a decent pilot to consistently rape the opposing team over and over and over again, the only thing having to worry about are the couple AA's in the whole level, and the occasional handrocket that might come at him, but will most likely miss anyways. Now, infantry has a much better edge on them and won't have to go through whole matches being constantly raped by choppers.

But, those black hawk guns are pretty ridiculous. Agreed that they should have finite ammo.

I don't know about upping the accuracy on support guns either. What's wrong with them now? They're supposed to be inaccurate, that's why they're mega powerful. And they aren't really that inaccurate, you just have to be in a decent range to kill anyone, in usually 1-3 hits.

And agreed on taking shooting and jumping out not being the resolve for bunny hopping. There's been quite a few times where say, someone's on a ledge higher than me and I might pop up and shoot a few rounds into him. What they should do is only let you jump maybe two times in one stamina bar, and after that you actually have to wait to jump again. Because now your bar can be totally depleted, yet you can always jump, which is totally lame. So, not only is this not a good fix to the problem, people will still be able to bunny hop away avoiding fire from others, just not return fire. And most of the time, that's what people are doing anyways.

I've already posted my "insights" on the issue in the beginning. An it's not so much lazy as it is apathetic, I didn't care enough. It's a internet forum about a video game..now can we get on with life?

I've had the "pleasure" of seeing an Apache (yes, I know, it's not an Apache, but still attack chopper) in real life combat against foot soldiers, there is nothing resembling the true domination in this game that the vehicle has. While for the purposes of the game, at times it maybe seem overpowered, I have seen that same chopper taken down many a time. The only real advantage the MEC chopper has is that it spawns at an uncappable, while the USMC can lose thiers. If the USMC has a good pilot gunner combo, and uses the AA, even if just to scare it off, it can be made much less effective.
