Didn't realize that firing a gun while jumping was not an intended feature. Better start mass mailing all other game development houses to let them know this game exploit exists on their games too, they'll be thankful.

ok my guess would be, DICE will simply take out ur weapons along with ur hands while you are jumping. so u dont see ur weapons when u are jumping in the air and u cant fire them either. it will be similar to the sprint in BF2 or the jumping in DOD.

Exploiting game features, such as jumping and shooting, is not mastering the weapons..

It's up to you to learn all the nuances of a game. If you haven't, don't complain about those who have.

I've been reading this forum since the game came out, and I can't beleive the number of people that show up to complain about the same damn things over and over again. Instead of wasting time on the forums "crying" about it, spend some time learning how to defeat it.

Besides, there are still glitches in the game that require more attention than a bunch of cry babies that want the game adapted to their style instead of adapting their style to the game.

I'll adapt to the new patch whatever it may be, but I find it comical that the game needs to be dumbed down for a minority that can't be bothered to adapt and overcome.

You will no-longer be able to preform dives for cover. I personally love running for the safty of a low wall, jumping, going prone, and huddling until I recharge enough stanama to move again. This isn't "dolpin diving" since I don't repeat it. When I hit the ground, I stay there. And yes, it's realistic (if you want to play that card) since I can do it in real life. I just can't bounce back up to my feet right away.

You can't jump and dive for cover anymore? Now thats just stupid if they took that out...sounds like this patch is going to stur up a storm.

I'm cool with all the changes except maybe the nerfing of the attack helis. I don't fly them all too often, and they're not the dominating force that jets are. The improved AA and lower health will probably render them too fragile, but we'll wait and see. I've always been a big advocate of having them die from one direct tank round, but otherwise I'm cool with them.

Ummm...wargimp is talking out of his butt, here. The above has not been confirmed by EA at all, as far as I know. The specific changes include no more prone-spamming, no more dolphin-diving.

But EA has not told us exactly what those things mean to them, nor yet how they are going to stop them.

That's to counter C4 whoring, I think it's nessecary for gameplay issues cause at the moment Karkand is a **cking mess. After experiencing chaos battles with C4 whoring, bunny hoping everywhere, snipers running around planting claymores, frag spamming, camping the Hotel spawn with APCs...i'am starting to think Star Wars battlefront is more realistic then bf2.

Like "You will no-longer be able to preform dives for cover." Not, I think, or they might not allow this, nothing to indicate it's your opinion. Sharpshooter took what you said as fact, which is why I put in the correction.

Nothing personal, but I've seen rumors spring up even in this thread that are just outlandish, because they're based on two or three words from EA. Everything else supplied by the poster's imagination.
