haha i do that too, but its a bomber... so you have to realise that.

(and also for me it feels weird, because the pilot seat feels different.. like a different location. and the thing just seems like it is moving too damn slow..)

Not a bad guide, could have been better written with more spacing, doesn't include some of the best tips and the evasion manuver where you go out of bounds is just stupid, i would make a guide but i'm a selfish bastard who would rather keep all my tricks to myself then tell everyone.

uhhh....it has nothing to do with going out of bounds. its going up high to the point where they realize you are just one kill (but they are spending alot of time on you) when they could be back down getting a bunch of kills. and most of the time they leave...and when they leave, is one of your chances to follow them again. as for "normal" evasive movement... that should just come natural.

uhhh....it has nothing to do with going out of bounds. its going up high to the point where they realize you are just one kill (but they are spending alot of time on you) when they could be back down getting a bunch of kills. and most of the time they leave...and when they leave, is one of your chances to follow them again. as for "normal" evasive movement... that should just come natural.

I no exactly waht it is going that high is out of bounds as well, they just don't kill you for it.

its losers like you who I hate flying against. They cant kill a jet in a fair dogfight so they stall in the air and hope they live and the other guy dies. It ****es me off when people dont kno how to fly properly.

BTW, all your moves are easily followed by a good pilot by using the F12 view. Sry bro but if i ever met u in the air, i would pwn u.

Yeah you sound like a pro. Please when this n00b gets over 900 ft he will lose control and if you just stay below him you can take him out really easly. Even if someone is clasing me high. i can spin at 1000 ft and lock on while he flys below me. Then just camp the airfield to you take him out with guns and steal his jet.

I would OWN all of you guys anytime. :laugh:

In a dog fight, anything that keeps you alive is skilled

If a "noob stall" works, then its not "noobish", noobish tactics tend to get you killed fast, stall dosnt.

Evasive manuver tips:

KNOW YOUR JET

JSF for example have very good roll rate but pathedic pull, so if a J-10 is chasing you flying in circles dosnt help. The trick with JSF is to bank left, right, left, and repeat, since J10 cant keep up with your roll rate he is bound to lose track of you for a brief period (if not forever), when you have a chance to pull up into clouds and dive back behind his ass.
(I wouldnt bet on JSF actually killing the J-10 though, providing they have similar skills)

Mig-29 is the stall-plane, since it manuvers excellent in slow speed, sometimes you can simply fly very slow, (when yoru enemy is right behind you, not far away so he can just shoot missiles), this way the other pilot is forced fly past you and come back, by which time he is no longer on your tail (the rest is up you)

J-10, pretty simple, pull back and you are invincible, J-10 vs J-10 on the other hand tend to get stuck, (provided similar skils), the trick is always keep your real view and know what time the persuer loses you on his screen, once he lost you change direction and you can get on his ass)

that is one thing you should never do with a good pilot. The guns will destroy you going slow and you won't be able to get out of the way.

Thats not true at all the best pilots won't even realise you are slowing down till it's to late then they just bank off.

The bombers are great at what they're designed for - bombing. If you get a decent co-pilot, you just keep it level and slow and a good distance from the ground and let him do all the work. I can dogfight in a bomber and win most of the time but I prefer fighters for that sort of thing.

Kinda off topic, but what are your favorite areas for impressing other pilots or your copilot? I like the double bridges near the US base in FuShe Pass. When I'm being followed back to reload, I'll always duck under both of them at high speed, the one right in front of the landing strip always kills the enemy pilot. I've done it upside down maybe twice. :) The other favorite is the open bridge tunnel on Kubra Dam. I've done it once in a jet but choppers fly through there all the time.

Crucial, maybe in BF1942, using Keyboard and mouse is possible but in BF2 your going a hell of a lot faster and can be shot down faster, Joysticks are essential for any Jet pilot that wants to stay alive for a fair amount of time.

If your after a beginners joystick I'd go for the

or

Logitech® Force™ 3D

As I said, only when they are right at your tail, not when they are far away that they have time to fly up to you with guns blazing

And trust me, I have flown a lot and this tactic works very well when used right.
