You like BF2, obviously you stated it above.

But for some reason you hate SF without having played it and thus formed you own opinion.

So we can then conclude that in total the people in this thread who arent getting SF but for some reason cant stop talking about it are indeed Sheep.

Yes, those damned pesky EA buggers how dare they release an xpac, and obviously anybody who likes said xpacs are morons... i mean come on! We dont need our own opinions, we just blindly believe other peoples!

at least one thing i know will be good about the expansion pack,

- it will take all the CS kiddies that hate vehicles away from the real battlefield game, maybe now we wont see as much idiots as we used too in the servers.

i didn think about this before but dice actually cares about the real BF players and made something on purpose to take the idiots away from the game by making them all go play on a expansion pack and live in a world appart

Why would I want to play as anyone other than SAS or Seals?! What new and exciting things are there for the Spetnaz, MEC, Insurgent and Rebel forces?!

Wow, you just changed my mind about buying Special Forces, one of the main reasons I WAS going to by SF is because of the Insurgent groups and Spetnaz. But after reading this and many other posts forget it.

Too bad I already played it and love it. Lots of infantry action. Sweet new maps. Awesome new guns. BF2:SF for the win. Worth the 30 bucks.

I completely agree with the thread starter here. I am a big fan of BF2 but the previews and write-ups of the merits of the expansion pack are far from convincing for me. I am waiting for reviews of the expansion and will buy only if they are positive. $30 seems a bit much for new maps and some new toys and uniforms (personally I don't get excited about what uniform I'm wearing, it's all about the guns...). For about the same amount of $ you could buy F.E.A.R or Quake 4...

Lol, I have FEAR and I'm not too impressed, just more of the same, I'll probably have more fun with BF:SF :p We'll see.

I will pick it up only to see the new things added. I work on a mod right now and we were very interested in seeing the capabilities of the BF2 engine for our mod.

At first I wasn't going to buy out of principal but after becoming educated by screen shots and actual reviews. I'll be making my purchase...

No uninformed reviews will change my mind.


BTW - The carrier map looks SOOOOOO wicked!
